Attention and kindness
Good location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Front desk staff were friendly
No elevator. Only two of four rooms per floor have an exterior window. Breakfast was minimal.
Only the location
Honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.
When I first arrived, the owner/manager immediately asked me if I could exchange money for her , Thai Baht to UAE Dirhams. I tried to be kind and helped her out. As a “thank you,” she claimed she would upgrade my room because apparently I had booked a room without a window. Later I checked and realized I HAD actually booked a room with a window already. So the whole “upgrade” story was just misleading from the beginning.
It got worse. She then took my phone, opened the Booking.com app herself, and modified my reservation from 3 nights down to only 1 night because she said she would “get more commission” that way. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior.
After that, every interaction felt like she was trying to benefit from me somehow. She kept insisting I shouldn’t use the massage place downstairs and should go to another one across the street instead , clearly because she probably gets commission from sending customers there. I ignored her recommendation and went downstairs anyway… and the massage there was actually excellent.
Another time she literally asked to use my phone so she could write herself a positive review. That crossed the line completely.
The hotel itself was also terrible. The elevators constantly smelled bad, and one day I walked into my room and the smell coming from the bathroom/toilet was so disgusting I could barely breathe. I genuinely almost vomited.
Overall, this place felt manipulative, uncomfortable, and unhygienic. I would absolutely not stay here again.

Great Staff, Great Location, Great price, Good Breakfast Buffet…
It is a nice facility but in need of renovation! The pictures in booking.com have been greatly photoshopped or are old pictures! The in room safes are NOT attached to a solid structure in the rooms and are only working with an access key (electronic functions are disabled)…
Les employés sont très gentil et serviable. la localisation est très bien.
