Okay
They didn’t provide room service after the second day and we didn’t get any towels. I need a refund!
The hotel, staff , and close food.
How long it took to get to my hotel.
The cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff

The friendly staff.
There was nothing I didn’t like.
Breakfast was good, staff were extremely friendly and happy to assist. Pool is small but enjoyable
Mold everywhere, the ac, bathroom, walls, halls, pool area, literally everywhere and you could smell it throughout. AC didn't work well with the room set up
The rooms were nice with AC and staff was very friendly and helpful.
The pool was very murky color and cold, they didn’t restock the food once it ran out.
We stayed 1 night pre cruise. Room 224 was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not as many choices as other hotels. We arrived after dinner and left after breakfast, so we didn’t use any amenities. Check out is a generous noon. My only complaint, I booked and paid for a king room, was assigned 2 queens.
My flight from Denver was delayed for 8 hours so I called Springhill Suites and explained the delay and that I am still definitely coming so keep my reservation intact. After a terrible, long exhausting, sleepless night, I finally made it to Philadelphia airport at past 7 am, called the hotel to request the complementary shuttle, then called again the 2nd time because I had been waiting for almost an hour. When the fiver finally came after more than an hour, he gave me such a hostile attitude asking me to lift my bag and load it on my own but I asked him if he could help me. He brushed me off and told me to get out of the way, then asked me if I was having a bad morning. I realized I this driver was so rude and I was scared to respond anymore as I was the only passenger in his van.
Arriving at the hotel, the lady at the counter named Taj told me my reservation was cancelled because it was considered a “no show”. I clarified to her about the phone call I made the night before but she insisted that there was no phone call received nor any note about my flight delay. To make the bad situation even worse, she accused me of blaming her even if I didn’t say that. Because I badly needed a room (which I expected to be waiting for me on my arrival), I begged her to get me a room as soon as she could which she replied with “all rooms are taken”. After so much begging, she said she could put me in a room but no guarantee what time it would be. I felt I was at her mercy with the van driver smiling rudely at me. I asked myself why this happened to me - long exhausting, sleepless night from delayed flight and now at the mercy of unwelcoming, unsympathetic Springhill Suites staff who I felt was punishing me as I was patiently waiting in the lobby. My migraine was hitting me and I was feeling really sick. I followed up with her many times but she just kept saying no, there’s no room available yet. Finally at almost 1 pm, she got me a room. I showered and slept through the whole night.
The next morning, I saw there was a completely new set of staff. I was thinking of taking Uber if that rude driver would still be there, however, the driver was also different. I was so shocked at the different atmosphere this whole new set of staff provided - there was a friendly ambience unlike the tandem team (that rude driver and Taj exhibited the day before). Every time I remember the ordeal I had with that Taj and that driver, all I could conclude was it a nightmare having them part of Marriott family. I’m a Gold elite but because I booked with a third party, I did not insist using my Gold card.
To summarize this review, I hope no one had to experience the horrible treatment I had with that Sunday staff (Taj and driver). As for me, I’ll definitely avoid Springhill Suites in PHL the next time again.
Breakfast very good and staff very helpful. Location excellent as we were visiting Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE.
Bed was very creaky as you moved.
Easy check-in
Could be cleaner.
This hotel is close enough to allow you to get to the airport quickly without being right on top of the busy airport area. They offer a shuttle bus to and from the airport.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
