Pretty grounds, well-designed room, good price. "Giuseppe's" - the Italian restaurant on the campus - was excellent and friendly.
A huge place like that and they still want $30 to park? It all felt very corporate and cold. Bad signage. We drove around a while just trying to find where to check in. When we did, we approached the front desk and were greeted with harsh, vague orders to "do something" we didn't understand. It turned out we needed to wait behind a line forty feet back from the front desk even though there were only two or three people ahead of us. I've been in a million hotels and I've never seen anything like that before.
We’d love this part pretty been staying here for many years family tradition. it was great to watch the World Cup on the big screen during the day.
The staff is always nice and friendly. Always a good time with friends and family at the pool. I rented a one room villa and it was perfect
The location of my room. I called a couple of days previously prior to my stay and requested a floor room due to my mom using a cane/ walker and ended up on 2nd floor instead
I liked the amenities such as the pool area. They had multiple pools.
I was not happy about the room size and not having a full functioning kitchen with an oven. My room was adjacent by the elevator, so you can imagine the noise of people coming and going.
Bad hotel, bad service, won't go back there again

I'm never going to use you anymore you liar and still for me money
Terrible terrible service terrible home I'm not going to use booking anymore
Villa was great, it’s perfect to travel with baby, swimming pool is warm and clean, staff in the pool bar is very friendly ( especially Guilermo),great drinks and good food
Very long check in we had to wait more that 1 hour with baby in the heat
I love this hotel. The pools are great—there are six of them on the grounds. There are bars serving drinks and food right next to the pools. There are also plenty of gas grills located near the buildings.
Unfortunately, the furniture in the rooms is quite worn out. The room was not cleaned to perfection. This tarnishes the Marriott name. On this occasion, the staff proved to be cold and unwelcoming. They refused to assign us a room with a view of the golf course, even though I had booked a month in advance and specifically requested it. We stayed for six days.
The property is just a bunch of apartment houses - not great
There was waaay too many white old folks. And some were nice.
We traded our timeshare for Shadow Ridge, and are so happy we did. Such a good resort -- aquafit every morning, a few adult-type games (mixology, bingo, trivia) and lots for kids to do, also. Great pool areas (all 3+), and the drinks were reasonable (we took advantage of the "drink of the day" for lower prices).
Wish they had offered the breakfast option (at the bars) on one or two of the weekdays, also. This was a terrific Sat/Sun breakfast, and we were there all week.
Also, take advantage of The Bunker, the golf snack shack. Breakfast plus lunch sandwiches at the lowest prices on the property. Ask at the front desk.
