I have stayed here about a year ago & returned as I thought & felt it was a posh place to stay as everything was so perfect. However, on this visit I was disappointed as the standards had really dropped. The hotel didn’t look as clean as I expected it go. Be. The entrance of the hotel was not as clean as it used to be and our shower had mould on it which got a four star was quite disappointing.

Simply fabulous
Pros:

Fabulous Hotel , having travelled with my adult daughter I still wanted a hotel that was not too far away from everything but also quite chilled and of a high standard . The Mercure was one of the best 4 star hotels I have ever stayed in and in well travelled . Staff were excellent , clean , lovely decor , smelt amazing , breakfast superb and the pool area very chilled , totally recommend

A little oasis in the middle of the old town
Pros:

A lovely stay at this wonderful and peaceful hotel. Apart from the roadworks outside but this is not the fault of the hotel. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very clean although they could do with more storage for 2 people and all their clothes/stuff. Half the room is just floor space so a shelving unit would have been great. Breakfast buffet is amazing. The pool was lovely and the pool staff were brilliant. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would come back.

Nice hotel and location, good selection at breakfast and comfy beds

Cons:

Didn't like the hotel accomodating stag groups and large groups of lads which you have on your website that they DO NOT accept them. Also was woke up every morning at 7.30 by two massive concrete core drills working just down the street. Very disappointing stay which could have promised a lot more imo

Pros:

Es la segunda vez que nos Hospedamos y nos gustó mucho. El chico de Recepción, es muy amable y nos resolvio un problemilla con las dos plazas de parking que reservé, solo me hicieron la reseva de una y ya no quedaban plazas me decia la chica de recepción y de ahí no salía y el lo solucionó en un momento. La ubicación es perfecta, a unos minutos del centro de Benidorm. Habitación superior perfecta,etc. Las instalaciones de Jardin, piscina, etc, muy bonito. Camarero barra del bar, muy simpatico y profesional. Volveremos seguro ya que vivimos a solo 1h30m.

Cons:

Pues es la primera vez que nos pasa pero día de salida, sobre las 9/9:30 la camarera de habitación nos traquea e inmediatamente nos abre la puerta y cuando me oye, pero bueno, esto que es, cerró. Por supuesto, di parte de la incidencia en recepción y el chico de recepción me pidio disculpas. Si el check out son las 12h, que hace la señora de la limpieza abriendo la puerta. Me enfade bastante la verdad.

Glorious.
Pros:

Everything. Lovely vibe. Loved the music from the ambient to the pool side saxophone, Saturday nigh DJ and Sunday morning guitar.

Great hotel - really makes a holiday
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby and room felt luxurious. The bar and pool had a good atmosphere. Location was excellent. Everything was perfectly clean.

Cons:

The only reason I'm not giving it a 10/10 is because there were no spa facilities - but I knew this when I booked. It exceeded my expectations
