Categories

Cleanliness
8.6
Generally praised as very clean (many mentions of 'très propre', 'chambre propre', 'literie impeccable'), though one review reported poor cleanliness. Overall sentiment slightly above average with isolated negative feedback.
Service
9
Multiple positive comments about accueil, staff friendliness and attentive owner ('patrone super agréable', 'gentillesse du personnel'). Some communication issues noted (information only in French, unanswered check-out question), but overall service sentiment is strongly positive.
Location
8.5
Frequently noted as convenient (close to airport, restaurants, quiet). One comment pointed out the hotel is in a commercial area which some may find less charming; overall location sentiment is positive.
Room Quality
8.2
Rooms described as comfortable, well-equipped (mini-fridge, microwave, cafetière) and quiet; several comments praise bedding. A few guests mentioned very small rooms, so room quality is generally good but with occasional size issues.
Amenities
8.1
Pool, kitchenette and secure parking are appreciated and considered useful. Some guests noted the pool cleanliness or availability issues (not open/not clean) which tempers the otherwise positive view of amenities.
Value for Money
7.2
Mixed to negative sentiment: some guests felt the price was high for what was offered ('très cher pour ce que c'est', petit déjeuner trop cher), though others found the hotel suitable for a one-night stopover. Value is the weakest area.
Food and Beverage
8
Limited F&B offering noted (breakfast delivered to door) with some positive mention of a good breakfast and others not testing it. Overall neutral-to-positive sentiment.
Overall Experience
8.8
Majority of reviews describe stays as very pleasant, 'très agréable' or 'parfait' with calm atmosphere and useful facilities for short stays; occasional negatives (cleanliness/service communication) do not dominate overall impression.

2 nuits à Velaux au Clos La Verdière.
Pros:
