I would never stay at this property again, and have advised friends not to stay there.
Pros:

The bed was large and reasonably comfortable.

Cons:

The lighting in the room was poor.
The room was freezing cold and the heat pumnp didn't work properly.
The shower, over the bath, was unacceptably weak, with no pressure at all. The water came out as a trickle, and if I tried to increase the temperature of the water, i.e. make hotter, the trickle diminished even more.
The room, hallway and public areas are all very tired looking.
The rate was high for what we got.
The reception desk was unmanned on arrival with a sign telling guests to call a number.
The same sign was there on check out the following morning.

Plenty of parking, restaurant, no road noise. Comfortable old hotel

Cons:

Don’t take this as a negative, it’s an observation Place coming due for an overhaul. Everything is still fine and ok. However time is starting to show.
