Room was great. Bathroom was fine. The vibe was fun and funky, with low volume house music pumping 24/7 in the lobby. The base price would seem to make this a very good value, but...
If breakfast was included or even offered, we never saw it. What seemed to be the breakfast nook adjacent to reception only offered a selection of sodas and candy.
We met with family for after dinner drinks one night. Every cocktail or glass of wine cost about $15 + sales tax + liquor tax, plus we added a tip. End result was cocktails averaged over $25 per glass, which I'd expect in San Francisco, but certainly not in Tulsa.
Location is tucked away behind a mall and some warehouses, so while seemingly convenient, it has zero neighborhood appeal, and you need to drive to wherever you want to go.
Our final invoice was a bit of a mess, since I was paying for two rooms, but only got one invoice. They billed our card six times with some random amounts which were hard to follow. Since we checked out early, trying to clear up the charges over the phone after the fact was a burden, and did not end with a satisfactory result. Hotel staff can't address billing, and Marriott corporate is a total mess, and was unable to resolve my concerns. One week later, and the hotel manager still has not returned my call. Very dissapointing.
Locatie, kamer en pooltafel
Het zwembad was niet in gebruik. Best jammer met de warme dagen
There was no Breakfast Served. I liked the location close to the interstate, restaurants and shopping centers, etc
Our safe provided in the room, we could not get it to open and we followed the instructions. None of the staff knew how to operate or open the Safe!
The Staff were always in the other room behind the two way window instead of at the front desk.
Everything
High snack bar
Staff was nice. That’s about it.
It was dirty. Beds weren’t comfortable. Our ceiling fell off in a chunk. Mold in the corners.
I generally don't write negative reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had and at $185/night, I'd advise against it. To start - the location's described as downtown, but it's in more of an office park and you must drive everywhere. You can walk to Dave and Buster's, but that's about it. The hotel itself was run down and not clean. The pool was closed and I was travelling with my child. The hotel was under construction - as in the wing adjacent to my room - but not secured. The sliding bathroom door wouldn't close and provided a 2 inch gap you could see through and did not lock. The towel hooks and toilet paper holder were hanging off the walls. I booked this through a third party and upgraded to include breakfast, but this apparently is not an option at this hotel. And to top it off, the A/C in the room stopped working and we had to switch rooms mid-stay, and rather than being upgraded, our bathroom was half the size as our previous room. We were only there for one night - all of this in less than 24 hours. When I brought this to the hotel's attention, they said there was nothing they could do because it was booked through someone else. I tried to call Marriott and was disconnected, but they essentially said that I needed to call said third party, and although they took my contact information, no one returned my call. I contacted said third party and they offered me a "courtesy" discount of 20%, due to the lack of breakfast - which roughly covered the breakfast upcharge, but not any of the inconvenience. It appears there is nothing more to be done about it, but I'm not happy, so here I am.
Nikki at front desk was very welcoming.
Very quite, walls aren’t to thin you don’t hear the traffic in the hallways or the loudness in the lobby and we stayed on the second floor right right above the lobby. Check in was quick and easy.
Just minor stuff nothing major, When you take a shower the water leaks out the space between the door and the floor made a big puddle the floor mat couldn’t soak up. Also the pool was greenish color, we didn’t wanna swim in it. Other than that it was great.
The staff was very helpful @ check-in finding our apparently lost reservation (was told booking didn't have it under a name - just null, but he found it by looking for the credit card #). The lady at checkout was very polite.
No breakfast included, just a snack bar that cost extra.
The AC unit was very noisy & shower door seal leaked.
