Nice hotel in a convenient location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a prime location, right on the harbor. Room was a nice size and bathroom was very modern with adequate counterspace. The breakfast was on the rooftop and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of offerings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bellman was excellent, helped us with our luggage and always greeted us with a smile and friendly welcome. This is the place to stay in Sircusa without a doubt.

Cons:

Parking was right across the street, convenient but on the pricey side. For the price of these rooms parking should be reduced. The hotel had a "private beach club" about a 20-minute drive away or you could pay for a boat shuttle from the hotel. We were led to believe this was a very nice beach but after driving around trying to find it, we finally had to get out several times to ask people where it was since there were no markings for the Grand Hotel Ortiga anywhere. Finally after going through another really nice beach club you walk down some stairs to a public beach which was basically a dump, trash everywhere, and you get to the "private beach club" which was very basic and not worth spending any time there at all so we left immediately, glad we didn't pay the fare for the boat shuttle and get stuck over there. Don't waste your time going to this beach club unless you just want to take a swim.
