Great Location and Helpful Staff, but Poor Wi-Fi
Pros:

Derlon Hotel has an excellent location right in the city centre, making it very convenient for exploring Maastricht. The staff were also very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay.

There are, however, a couple of important negatives. The hotel can be quite noisy because of the Basilica bells, which ring every hour even at night. More importantly, the internet/Wi-Fi was very poor and kept cutting out frequently. It was completely unavailable for the first two days of my stay.

As I was travelling for business and needed to work from my room as well, the unreliable Wi-Fi was a major inconvenience. Overall, the location and staff were very good, but the internet service really needs to be improved, especially for business travellers.

Maastricht was super. Personeel ook.
Pros:

Uitstekend

Cons:

Kraan onder de douche slang lekte.
Geen pen en bloknootje. Geen info folders op de kamer.
Geen kleine verpakte zeepjes. Alleen 1 groot stuk. Niet handig.
Geen extra tandborstels te koop. Luxaflex onderaan was stuk. Erg veel lawaai buiten tot laat met oa muziek en het terras.Geen rustige kamer dus.

Wij komen nog eens terug
Pros:

Goede badkamer en kamer airco en vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was gevarieerd en lekker en in een plezante ruimte.

Cons:

Niets omdat in het weekend de ontbijt ruimte later open was.

Great stay!!
Pros:

We were with 3, grandmother, mother and granddaughter, Booked the 3 p appartment, but the staff convinced us to take 2 rooms due to the heat. Worked out very well. They offered us 2 rooms at the front (loved it!), airconditioned and almost next to each other. We had a perfect stay, very friendly staff, perfect location and the restaurant was veggy-friendly. Didn't mention the breakfast room, best I've ever seen. You enjoy your breakfast in a Roman ruin! Thank you, see you next year!

Will definitely stay at the Derlon next year for the Andre Rieu concerts.
Pros:

Demi and staff were most accommodating and helpful in straightening out the awful mess I made with the reservation. Can't say enough good things about the professional and friendly staff. The outdoor dining area was most pleasant and enjoyable and the Derlon is within easy walking distance to the concert area.

Cons:

With the exception of the lady who's planning on going on to law school (she was outstanding) the outdoor food/drink service could have been better.

Prima kamer, goede service, geweldige ligging en vriendelijk personeel.
Pros:

Het ontbijt was goed. De kamer was goed schoon gemaakt. De ligging is uitstekend. Het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Het bed was stuk. Stond aan 1 kant bij de voeten omhoog en dat ging dus niet naar beneden. De broekenpers functioneerde niet. Douchen kan niet apart, dus je moet in het bad douchen. Kamer is aan renovatie toe. Maar dat gaat binnenkort ook gebeuren hoorde wij.

Riant appartement met twee verdiepingen en een dakterras. Ideaal voor een gezin. Mooie locatie, op eem rustig pleintje om de hoek van het hotel.

Cons:

Het was verouderd, maar er werd al gezegd dat het binnenkort gerenoveerd gaat worden, dus voor ons geen probleem. Maar ik vond het voor deze prijs niet oké dat er schimmel in de badkamer zat (kitranden en op voegranden en plafond). Dat is ongezond en onhygiënisch.

Aanrader wat hotel betreft en de vriendelijke medewerkers.

Mooi hotel super vriendelijke medewerkers, centraal gelegen op mooi plein

Cons:

Helaas vonden we wel dat bij het ontbijt niet snel werd aangevuld, ook al zou je vroeger ontbijten.
