Gutes Hotel, aber der Name verspricht etwas anderes.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Das Zimmer auf den Zoo hinaus vollkommen in Ordnung.
Der historische Lift reizend.

Cons:

Die Einrichtung des Hotels insgesamt etwas abgewohnt, aber alles sauber.
Die Lage gegenüber vom Bahnhof ist etwas weniger interessant für Touristen, die auf eine Nacht vorbeikommen. Wir spazierten eine halbe Stunde zum Schloss. Der Name des Hotels "Schlosshotel Karlsruhe" ist deshalb etwas irreführend.

Schönes traditionelles Haus, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber durchaus mit Charme.
Pros:

Zentrale Lage, Nähe Bahnhof. Unser Zimmer war trotzdem ruhig, wir hatten aber auch um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. 24h-Rezeption. Gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Es gab eine Bar, die aber an dem Tag, an dem wir übernachtet haben, geschlossen war. Das fanden wir enttäuschend, zumal wir erst später am Abend ankamen. Beim Frühstück könnte in Zukunft ein Salz- und Pfefferstreuer auf dem Tisch stehen.

Als wir das erste Mal im Zimmer waren, befand sich im Badezimmer eine gelbe, wässrige Pfütze. Wir konnten jedoch das Zimmer wechseln.

Gute zentrale Lage mit kurzem Fußweg zu nä. S-Bahn- und Bus-Haltestellen und zum Tierpark.
Freundliches aber auch interessiertes und hilfsbereites Personal.
Ein schöner alter funktionsfähiger (!!!) Aufzug.

Für eine Nacht in Ordnung.
Pros:

Eigentlich war alles ok.

Cons:

Im Badezimmer hat extrem nach Urin gestunken. Auch nachts, als man schlief, kam dieser Geruch vom Badezimmer. Woran es lag, kann ich nicht sagen. Aber das war sehr unangenehm.

Es war ok, aber absolut nicht, was man erwarten würde.

Die Lage ist super

Cons:

Bar und Restaurant sind dauerhaft geschlossen. Wussten wir vorher nicht. Es gibt in allen Bereichen zu wenig Personal, weswegen das vorhandene Personal sehr gestresst wirkt. In manchen Bereichen finden sich größere Insekten und es riecht nach Abwasser. Die Zimmer werden nicht täglich gereinigt.
