Schade um dieses eigentlich sehr schöne und angenehme Hotel.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist zwar sehr alt, ist aber auf einem aktuellen Stand. Mit ein wenig mehr Liebe zum Detail könnte es ein Schmuckstück sein.

Cons:

Dass sich gegenüber dem Karlsruher Bahnhof am Eingang zum Stadtgarten die Penner angesiedelt haben macht sicher keinen guten Eindruck auf Reisende. Dieser ursprünglich repräsentative Platz ist heute eher abschreckend. Das wäre zwar eine städteplanerische Maßnahme, schadet aber dem Hotel

Pros:

Netheid kamer en goede matrassen. Goed ontbijtbuffet.

Cons:

Geen restaurant, weinig of geen barmogelijkheid. Drank zelf uit frigokast halen en aan receptie betalen.

Good for 1 night. No restaurant. Good beds and maintained. Good buffet breakfast. The bar isn't very successful, and you have to get drinks yourself. Few staff members present.

Pros:

De locatie, ook het ontbijt was goed. En de kamer was prima. Heel fijn ook dat je voor de deur van het hotel de auto kunt parkeren.

Cons:

Eigenlijk niets. Maar ze hebben een eeuwenoude lift en als je al bang bent voor liften, zoals ik, dan kun je als het kan beter met de trap gaan. De lift piept en kraakt van oudheid. Maar het is wel een dingetje. Dus wel positief.

Good transit hotel in the centre of Karlsruhe
Pros:

The hotel is a historical building from 1914. Rooms were very spacious and free of carpets, laminated and stone floors. Beds were comfy. Good breakfast, not exceptional but a bit better than the regular standard. The hotel was located in the historical center of Karlsruhe close to the railway station and the zoo.

Cons:

It was hot outside (about 36 C) and the airconditioning fell out at night. So we woke up from the heat. After calling the receptionist it was fixed (central organised airconditioning for the whole building). Cleaning could be better in particular for the common areas (elevator and entrance hall). A pity that the hotel didn’t have a restaurant. Guests arriving late need to look around in the neighborhood for a bite.

Pros:

Netheid kamer. Airco op de kamer. Ontbijt was voldoende. Locatie aan het station was niet optimaal. Stationsbuurt.

Cons:

Geen restaurant. Een zeer kleine kaart voor snacks. Weinig keuzes. Bar was niet geopend >. Konden wel iets uit de frigokast halen of vragen. Trek U plan.

Pros:

Prachtig gebouw, en pal naast het treinstation.

Cons:

Het was heel erg warm buiten, en ook op de kamer (bovenste verdieping!). Er was geen airco en de ramen konden 's-nachts maar op een kiertje open. Ik weet het, het is net pech hebben dat het zo warm was, maar dat maakte het toch wel minder aangenaam.

Härligt hotell med vacker hiss
Pros:

Vackert hotell i gammaldags stil, god frukost och AC i sommarvärmen 40 grader. Fin historia med filmstjärnor.

Inget, men väldigt låg toalettstol, inget för handikappade

Lovely old-fashioned hotel with great breakfast
Pros:

We loved everything but especially the breakfast. The buffet had everything and it all seemed very good quality.

This hotel takes one back to the days when hotels were elegant and beautiful. The room was extremely comfortable and the Aircon worked great, even with 37° temperatures outside. It was also nice to be able to grab a cold drink for sale from the fridge in reception.

Cons:

Breakfast room started to get quite hot though it was only 9 am.
