We had a lovely time staying here, I brought my Mum and we stayed Monday to Friday, the staff were outstanding and it’s obvious they love there jobs. If you want modern stay on level 1. If your not bothered but want comfy and clean room 301 Is perfect.

Very comfortable and pleasant hotel right on the first line of the beachfront. Wonderful view of the sea over breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff, especially the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant.
I would have loved to have a room with a sea view and the lift seemed a little bit ancient. Still worked though!

Had a lovely stay, room was spacious view stunning out on to the sea, parking on site and staff all very friendly smiles all round. Breakfast was great my wife liked the smoked salmon.
I was drawn in by the great deal and was happy to accept the small, dated single room with a noisy lift right outside. For the price, I had no issue with any of that.
The problem was the smell. Every time I ran the bathroom tap, the sink produced an intense smell of drains, rotten eggs and sewage. This wasn't a minor odour confined to the bathroom — it was strong enough to fill my small hotel room and linger, making it intensely unpleasant to stay there. I couldn't comfortably use the bathroom, even to brush my teeth.
I understand that these things can happen, particularly in an older building, and I was polite and understanding when I raised the issue. Maintenance treated the drain, but unfortunately this made no difference. The friendly cleaners also sympathised and agreed that the smell was bad. As the hotel was full, I had to stay in the room for two nights before I could be moved.
My replacement room on the third night was great, and I really appreciated being moved. I would have been happy to leave a positive review if the situation had been handled differently at the end of my stay. When no compensation was offered, I asked for a discount to acknowledge the disruption; this was flatly refused and I was offered a free breakfast instead, which I didn't feel was an adequate or proportionate response.
I wasn't expecting anything unreasonable — just an apology and some recognition that I had experienced a stay below the hotel's usual standards. Instead, I received a defensive response stating that I should have been happy with what was offered, without even an apology for the experience.
The irony is that I booked this hotel instead of camping to avoid smelly toilets. Honestly, I'd have taken a porta-loo in a field over that bathroom any day.
Overall impression: dreadful smell, disappointing customer service. Such a shame, because it really wouldn't have taken much to turn a poor experience into a positive one.
Brilliant location, staff were great and breakfast was fantastic
Have stayed a few times here & it represents value, a warm welcome, clean room and is located on the seafront, so fabulous for a break by the sea. We had a room overlooking the car park but it was clean, a good size with a good ensuite. Have had food here before but just had a drink in the bar on arrival & checked out fairly early as we were seeing family.
No issues to report.
Location, food, friendly staff.
Cleanliness of the balcony due to bird muck.
Furniture and carpets a bit dated.
Stay here often. Rooms are nice and the breakfast and evening meals are good
Great location, great view, lovely big room. Staff were lovely.
Odd smell in the shower. Shower took a long time to adjust temperature. Water bottles weren’t replenished in the room on the second day.
Location is excellent.
Staff were friendly.
No air conditioning.
