I wanted a relaxing break and got it

Costly but have stayed twice a year for a few years now as I love the location and the seaview

I love the location and the rooms with a sea view are excellent. The bar is a comfortable, relaxing area.

Cons:

Dining room can be hot. My biggest moan is that the hotel is expensive. I paid £330 for 2 nights for a seaview room. I think it’s classed as a delux room. The bathroom was nicer than the normal rooms and the bed was larger but I don’t feel that it really fitted the cost for 2 nights.

Receptionist Amy was very helpfull very accomodating helped us book again as we are coming back to stsy with you next week as we have a funeral to attend

Great location with exceptional staff.
Pros:

Great location.Beautiful view from the room looking over the beach.Room was very clean .Was very grateful for the fan in our room.The best thing about our stay was the exceptional staff .Everyone was helpful and friendly .Service was attentive and efficient .Leah was excellent at breakfast .Thank you .

Shower had very poor water pressure and took a while to heat up .

Clean comfortable and excellent breakfast with stunning views

As a surveyor covering the UK I have stopped in hundreds of Hotels/Guest Houses etc.
This has to be one of the best overall stays I have had. I stayed in a single room, which had a double bed. Granted a little outdated but clean and very comfortable bed. Shower room had recently been refurbished.
Staff were friendly and attentive.
The icing on the cake was the breakfast. Full English with good ingredients was absolutely delicious and would set anyone up for the day, coupled with a lovely sea view.
Exceptional Value for money
Highly recommended from me.👌👌

Some updates needed but we still had a wonderful stay
Pros:

Lovely building in fabulous location. Good sized room with fantastic view over the beach. Clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast. Staff all friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in a little early.

Cons:

Windows had “do not open” on them, so the room was on the warm side despite the small desk fan in the room. The Lino in bathroom was split and needing replacement. Water pressure was very low but not low to prevent showering.

Great location
Pros:

I was transferred to another room because of the smell in my room which was like a sewer smell from the bathroom. The evening manager was excellent in his manner and professionalism and found me an alternative upgraded room , knowing he could not fix the problem there and then. Really enjoyed my breakfast while looking out to sea

Cons:

My room was next to the lift so heard the robotic lady announcing the floor the occupants had reached or ‘going down’
I am a light sleeper who was extremely tired after arriving from US and then driving up to Lowestoft , so this was annoying to me, but maybe not for others
