Twin single mattress on king size bed…. Not good! Shower water leaked all over bathroom floor, drainage not sufficient.

Excellent night, great location, helpful and kind staff.
Pros:

Super friendly staff and front desk. Matthew was so kind and helped us hold 12 bags and brought them all up to our room, then happily held them again. Wonderful stay front to back. Loved the rooms and the location is perfect. When we come back to Windsor, I will only look here. Thank you!

When we return, we hope to stay there again!
Pros:

Macdonald Windsor had all we needed and appreciated for our stay - great location, lovely place, air cooled, wonderful rooms, delicious breakfast, excellent staff - all helpful and very pleasant. I would highly recommend it!

Cons:

We weren't there very long, but can't think of anything. Maybe washcloths? Other than that, it was fabulous!

I recommend this hotel for its rooms, staff, location, price
Pros:

Easy to find, close to castle and to bus to Legoland.
Kind staff, clean room, comfy bed, great shower and bathroom.
AC appreciated during the heatwave

Cons:

The afternoon tea was so so, with standards definitely below the general vibe of our weekend and not matching Windsor expectations. We should have gone for cream tea.

Prime position. Overall good stay. Would stay again.
Pros:

Location. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Poor breakfast offering for large hotel. Asked for decaf cappuccino as wasn’t in machine- told £4 extra!
Came back to hotel to collect belongings before checking out & the sofa had already been made up as a double bed for next occupants!
