Run down in a not so great neighbourhood
Pros:

We were able to store our luggage at the hotel for 2 hours after checkout.

Cons:

Unfortunately it was located in a really sketchy area of China Town. It looked so much better online. Ok in daylight hours but once night fell homeless, drug affected people roaming around in the park land across the riad and outside the hotel entry yelling out abuse to people passing by, it was quite intimidating. The hotel is dated, in serious need of a reno. Paint knocked of walls, thin sheets with holes in them, lumpy pillows, chips and dents in furniture. Sorry to sound so negative but it was the worst place we've stayed at on our 5 week holiday. Staff were difficult to understand and not overally friendly. It felt like the kind of place you pay by the hour.

Cool hotel across from Columbus Park. You'll LOVE the entrance. :)
Pros:

It was really awesome of them to allow us to go on up to our room when we arrived instead of waiting until 3pm. Thanks you guys! Our stay was nice. The staff was kind and responsive. The hotel was quiet at night. We enjoyed it and would stay again.

Cons:

The cleaning staff needs to make sure they look under and behind things when they clean. There was a dirty rag and some trash under the coffee bar. It's also a bit strange not to be able to control the temperature in your own room. They froze us out until I called to the desk for them to turn off the AC. They promptly came up and turned it off and brought a small space heater, though. Thanks for that!

Hotel Mulberry was an excellent choice!
Pros:

Loved the location! I am glad I booked early, as the rates almost doubled when I checked again. I feel I hit a great deal and I am very satisfied with my stay.

Cons:

I didn’t like how I could not control much of the room temperature. It got freezing cold when I tried to lower temp but was later explained if you go too low it becomes very cold. Other than that it was a great stay!

Pros:

Professional staff, comfort of room, cleanliness, location and view. Good grocery store nearby to get snacks. We will definitely stay here again sometime.

Cons:

We needed another blanket at night. The comforter was too thin even though it was May. The water main was temporarily shut off for a few hours, but it was not communicated clearly enough.

Will likely stay here again
Pros:

The location was perfect for visiting our son. The walk north from the hotel on Mulberry Street is lovely and safe -- we did it at least twice a day and appreciated seeing the many restaurants with outdoor seating. The hotel is good and our room was fine -- clean, quiet. I'm not sure how well the air conditioning works but it was cool when we visited so it was not an issue. We brought our own "pour-over" coffee to make from the hot water kettle in the room but they do have drip coffee in the lobby. The staff was very nice. Bed was comfortable. There is a cute park across the street which is a bonus.

Cons:

Still pretty pricey for what you get but that is NYC.

Pros:

Gute Lage in Chinatown in der Nähe einer U-Bahn Station. Einige Restaurants, Cafés und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe, gefühlt sichere Gehend, kleiner Park direkt vor der Haustür. Zimmer ausreichend groß. Toller Blick aus dem Fenster, inkl. Blick auf die Skyline. Morgens steht gratis Kaffee zur Verfügung.

Cons:

Personal eher neutral, wirkte kühl und reserviert (aber nicht unfreundlich).
