The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue

We chose The Langham to celebrate our five-year wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice. The location is unbeatable, walking distance to some of the city's best shopping, plus everything else you'd want in Midtown. The staff made the whole stay feel special, from check-in to check-out, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly.

Service throughout the hotel was top-tier, polished without feeling stiff, and the kind of care that makes a milestone celebration feel truly memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-located, romantic base in New York with service that goes above and beyond.

One night stay in Manhattan booked through AmEx FHR. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a junior suite on the fifth floor - no view, but a very large room with a separate sitting area and a magnificent bathroom (truly giant tub). Did not try the gym or restaurant. Very good experience.

This was our first stay at the Langham in New York City. Everything from the greeting to the departure was excellent. The only things we didn't care for was the quality of the in room dining experience was less than expected, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Superb staff and excellent rooms in a perfectly central position. There’s a club room at extra cost. Well worth it , food available all day and drinks a plenty.

Overall services were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I moved to Conrad after staying 3 days in Langham and found Conrad services were not compatible at all. In terms of facilities, they are quite good. We stayed at the one bed room suite with washing machine and dryers and kitchen which are really convenient for us. I wish other hotels also offer similar type of setting. This is rarely found though. Beds are very comfortable. Everything is good. Also, we enjoyed the Langham club a lot.

I’ve had the privilege of staying in many exceptional hotels around the world, but The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue continues to exceed my expectations every single time.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and immaculately clean. They truly make you feel at home rather than like you’re staying in a hotel. The Club Level is outstanding, offering excellent service, delicious food and beverages, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes your stay even more special.

The fitness center is well-equipped and meticulously maintained, reflecting the same attention to detail found throughout the hotel.

What truly sets The Langham apart is its people. From the warm welcome by the bell staff when you arrive, to the professional front desk team, the knowledgeable concierge, and the attentive Club Level staff, every interaction is genuine and first-class. Their hospitality is unmatched.

No matter how many luxury hotels I visit around the world, I always find myself comparing them to The Langham—and they rarely measure up. This hotel has become my true home away from home, and I look forward to returning every chance I get.

Fantastic stay in all respects. Location is ideal but the hotel itself is amazing as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Location, decor, cleanliness

A longer stay than anticipated due to the blizzard, but the team did a great job making it stress free. Echoing earlier reviews - do go for a room with club access if you can - great place to relax in between sight seeing and super breakfast.
