Be VERY VERY careful
Pros:

Nothing, it's awful

Cons:

WARNING - Be VERY VERY careful with you credit card registration.
The "Hotel" asked me not only for my long card number/expiry date/CVV but the Security PIN that came from my bank via text on my 'phone
I refused to give this as my bank warns me NEVER to share security PINs with anyone. This led to stalemate and so I had to stay elsewhere losing what I had paid to the "Hotel"

In response to your statement
"We fully support guests being cautious with their banking security, but it is important to clarify that at no point did we ask you to disclose your bank PIN to us"

You asked me to enter my bank PIN onto YOUR desktop computer. This leaves you with the ability to spend anywhere online.
If a had disclosed my PIN to you, I would then be fully responsible for your expenditure, having no recourse with my bank.

All in all I smelt a rat

Pros:

A warm reception from the staff and a tadt burger and salad for tea. Rooms are dated but clean and comfy. Even a place to store my motorbike under the barn roof 😎

It was a reasonably priced hotel with good food, helpful staff and comfortable accomodation
Pros:

breakfast was very good room was large and comfortable and well lit

Cons:

it was noisy at times as we had to have window open onto the road but would otherwise when weather wasn't so hot have been fine

The room was in a terrible state , the furniture was very old and worn and the walls, skirting & dado rail were filthy , wallpaper torn in areas

Value for a nights stay just needs to be cleaner

I arrived late and key left outside staff accomadating and polite,, single room ideal for an over night stay

Cons:

Room need a clean, toothpaste in sink from orevious guest sweet wrapper on floor beside bed and generally dusty

Lovely old pub, with nice clean comfortable rooms, we had three separate singles, nice evening meals.
Pros:

Location was perfect for as we were attending a weekend event about 15 minute drive away, free parking behind the pub, nice bar and restaurant areas.
Food was lovely and at a good price.
We’ll be re booking for next year.

Cons:

Nothing to not like for us.

Convenient stay for family event on Saturday afternoon and evening.
Pros:

Excellent meals. Staff very helpful. Lovely clean white towels. Small English breakfast excellent value and tasty.

Cons:

Steep stairs to top floor. Peeling paint in shower. No decaff coffee available in room. Parking difficult at sometimes.

Das unfreundliche Personal. Ich war 1h vor dem Check In vor Ort und sollte Geld bezahlen wenn ich eher ins Zimmer möchte, obwohl das Zimmer bereits fertig war. Frühstück sollte es 7:30 geben, vor um 8 gab es aber garnichts. Sollte ich dann auch nach Geld fragen?
Die Holztreppe zum Zimmer ist durchgebrochen, da besteht erhöhte Verletzungsgefahr.
Fensterdämmung gibt es überhaupt nicht, es ist laut und zieht.
Das Bett ist durchgelegen.

Pros:

Outstanding service. My flight was delayed so much I could not arrive until 10:30. More than two hours after I had scheduled. The young woman stayed hours after her shift had ended in order to welcome me. She called by phone to check on me. Her boyfriend carried my bags up the “historic” stairs. Amazing. Delicious individually cooked breakfast. Friendly morning staff.

Good location for our needs but not somewhere I would stay again. Rooms very over priced too

The staff were lovely, the breakfast was really nice, restaurant was nicely furnished and clean

Cons:

Rooms were very basic, some were better than others, my daughters bathroom toilet had been used prior to her arrival and had dried chewing gum hanging off the TV wire too 🤮

Perfect for our needs
Pros:

Loved the fact that they served food late in to the afternoon, as we were stuck in traffic for hours, and thought we woukd not have a hot meal!
