Room was great. Cooling fan welcomed
Road noise was a bit intrusive
The location was perfect for us. Car parking was easy.
The room was OK. Tea and coffee making facilities were fine.
Staff were helpful and professional
Disconnect between the pub/bar and the hotel facilities. They were run separately. Staff had to follow instructions which included an extra charge for arriving after 9pm, we arrived at 9:05 - the hotel management then reimbursed it - quite confusing.
The bar stopped serving at 9pm.
There were no sockets beside the bed.
Bar staff were friendly.
The room was very tired and dirty. The room was musty, especially the bathroom. The paint was pealing everywhere. The only positive thing about the room was the clean sheets and towels.
The clean towels
I booked two rooms and both were grim. There were stains on the carpets, bed base, and dressing table stool, along with stains on the sheets I one room. The bed headboard was broken along with the shower head .
Comfortable small room, value for money. Very welcoming reception/bar team
They didn’t notify that there was live music on in the outside area until 11pm, fan in bedroom was dusty and bathroom shower unit was quite dirty. Also chargable to check in after 9pm when they are a pub?
The bathroom towels were clean
I booked two rooms and both rooms were really grim. There were stains on the carpets, the dressing table stool was so stained that nobody would want to sit on it. The bed headboard was broken and loose and stains on the sheets. The last straw was that the shower head was broken.
It is dated beyond dated. It was during a heatwave and to have the window open at night let in a lot of vehicle noise. Shower did not work. No bedside light. no chair.
All in all I would not recomend it to anyone.
All above.
it was a good stop on the way to Cornwall.
nothing
Lovely people, modern restaurant and food. Comfy bed and very clean sheets towels etc
Very tired and outdated bedrooms
The location
Loud music on Friday night till 23:30
The breakfast was excellent
It is very tired and needs updating
The room was very hot
The bed was very big and comfortable. There was secondary glazing on the window which stopped traffic noise from being a nuisance. The staff were helpful and pleasant.
The duvet, pillows and duvet cover were polyester which I find very uncomfortable. The window had secondary glazing which I couldn't open and, it being a very hot night, I found the room VERY hot and stuffy.
