Pros:

Super praktisch gelegen, direkt am Bahnhof aber auch in die Innenstadt ist leicht zu Fuss erreichbar. Große, geräumige Zimmer. Nettes, hilfsbereites und professionelles Personal.

Cons:

Eine Minibar wäre nicht schlecht gewesen, zumal der Tag extrem heiß war. Nicht ganz billig.

Pros:

Large rooms, very modern bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. Great location with easy access to the train station (we arrived and departed by train). There is a tram station in front of the hotel and we used the frequent trams to explore Basel.

Bon hôtel, bon emplacement.
Pros:

Tout : l’emplacement en face de la gare. La surface de la chambre était petite mais grande hauteur sous plafond, donc un bon volume pour respirer. La salle de bain moderne. L’isolation, la climatisation.

Cons:

La fourchette en bois, plantée dans le slot (normalement prévu pour la carte de la chambre) qui permet d’allumer les lumières, ce n’est pas très classe.

The hotel is an excellent place to stay in Basel.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast; excellent staff, both reception and breakfast. They went above and beyond. The cleaning staff were excellent too. This hotel presented a fine display of Swiss hospitality.

Cons:

nothing. I would have liked a small fridge.

loved the hotel, everything was just right - highly recommend
Pros:

Location was perfect, right opposite railway station, all the trams stop outside hotel. Ear plugs were supplied but did not need them, double glazing kept the room quiet. I had a single room which was adequate for one person, all the amenities were provided, nice big shower and an excellent sewing kit which came with pre-threaded needles - sometimes even the little things matter. Huge balcony. Very clean and comfortable room, really appreciated the AC during the heatwave. Decent check out time of 1200 was perfect. Staff were attentive and really friendly. Nice breakfast buffet, A proper "old school" hotel!

Convenient, comfortable - our favorite
Pros:

A most comfortable stay , next to SBB, but we didn’t suffer from noise. Everything is accessible with the tram, the bus to the airport is right there too.
The room was clean and modern , the breakfast was generous and deliscious.
We are soon returning - it’s our Basel place to stay!

Relaxing and cool Stay!
Pros:

During the heatwave it was really good to be in a hotel where there is AC. Since my trip to Basel is flexible not for business/work this time, I was spending most of the time in the hotel. So, I really maximize the time spent in the hotel. Although it was close to the train and tram station, the soundproofing is still good as the sound is not too loud and not disturbing. The breakfast is good, enough choices to start the day.
