Fantastic hotel.
Pros:

Everything. Perfect view of the castle right out of my window. Thoughtfully decorated.
Breakfast was of great quality and very enjoyable. The breakfast lady was so nice and kind.

I took the train to Zermatt and back in one day. Perfect location for my purpose.

Für eine Nacht okay.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in direkter Nähe vom Stockalper Schloss.

Cons:

Es ist definitiv sauber, aber dennoch in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr minimalistisch, Klassiker der Region wie Walliser Trockenfleisch oder Walliser Käse oder einfach nur Salami sucht man vergeblich, stattdessen der einfachste & günstigste Aufschnitt 3 Sorten und keine Ausschilderung was Schweinefleisch enthält und was nicht.

The location for the Simplon Pass. Breakfast was good. Town was lovely and walking distance. Check in was fine on a machine.

Cons:

The decor, the parking was not secure it was near a park which was beautiful but had a lot of undesirable wandering around. Had no sleep due to noisey guests, partying until 1am and a family next to us with screaming kids! All in all not the best stay. Had there been someone at reception we could have been moved or complained.

Das Schlosshotel ist nur zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Die Lage beim schönen Schloss war sehr schön.
Kostenfreie Parkplätze direkt beim Hotel.
Die Betten sehr bequem. Das 3. Zusatzbett war breiter als 90cm und auch super bequem. Das Zimmer hatte einen grossen Balkon. Das Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen und köstlich.
Sehr freundlicher Geschäftsführer und Personal.

Cons:

Es hat für uns alles gepasst.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist super und sehr nahe zur Innenstadt. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus. Trotzdem sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Sehr einfaches Zimmer und doch auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung. Mein Zimmer hatte das WC separat auf der Etage (war aber auch so beschrieben und nur zur alleinigen Nutzung - muss man trotzdem mögen).

Het was elke morgen weer fijn wakker worden. Uitzicht vanaf het balkon zo op de bergen.

Het hotel ligt centraal.

Cons:

Ik zelf ben geen fan van zachte matrassen. Dus de matrassen waren voor mij niet fijn.
