Important information:

The hotel is located in the Schlern wildlife park. According to Italian law the use of cars in the wildlife park is forbidden. You are however allowed to access the hotel with a permit which you can get at the St. Valentin forestry office on the road 6.2 mi from the hotel, between 09:00 and 17:00. Outside their opening hours, you can get your permit directly at the hotel.

The permit allows you
- to access the Schlern wildlife park at all times on the day of arrival and departure.
- to use your car in the wildlife park between 17:00 and 10:00 during the rest of your stay
- to park at the hotel's parking space.

Please note that snow chains are recommended in winter.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Best location in Dolomites

We had such a wonderful stay that I did not want to leave

We loved the hotel location, cleanliness, quietness, amenities, spa, and especially the restaurant food and staff. The view was unmatched. Even on a rainy cloudy day it was pretty and we actually had a rainbow one evening during dinner. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the alpine meadow and mountains. My favorite part of the spa was the hay room that smelled amazing. The infinity pool was also beautiful with the automatic door that opened if you wanted to move from indoors to outdoors. Each day, there was a delicious breakfast with many choices. For dinner, the chef prepared beautiful, unique, and amazing dishes. It was some of the prettiest dishes I have ever had. Some were even made with edible flowers. There was also an "a la cart" menu option if we wanted to choose something from that as well. One of my favorite things about my stay was the kindness of the restaurant staff. These employees were amazing and made us feel welcomed and at home. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to staying here again. Thank you Hotel Icaro!
