Fijne plek, heel vriendelijk personeel, prima ontbijt, maar jammer van die bloedhete hotelkamer ‘s avonds en ‘s nachts.

De hotelkamer was ‘s avonds en ‘s nachts bloedheet, ik schat zo’n 25 graden. Vermoedelijk kwam dat door vloerverwarming (ook het toilet beneden was ‘s ochtends zo heet), in juli nota bene, met de ochtendzon op het raam, middagtemperaturen buiten van ca. 23 graden C en koele nachten. Zelfs met het raam wagenwijd open duurde het uren voordat de kamer wat was afgekoeld. In combinatie met de ventilator lukte dat uiteindelijk wel. Midden in de nacht kon ik die uitdoen. Ik sliep enkel onder het laken. Vanaf 6.30 u was het koel genoeg om ook het dekbed te gebruiken.

Absolutely terrible experience; room extremely hot.
Cons:

Room was unbearably hot. Open window and a fan did not help at all. Spent two miserable sleepless nights sweating and had to switch hotels. I had booked the room for 4 days but checked out after the 2nd day.

Pros:

Grosses Zimmer. Frühstück OK. Personal sehr freundlich, sorgfältig und zuvorkommend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Cons:

Das Haus ist nun mal nicht mehr ganz taufrisch. Das schlägt sich auch im günstigen Preis nieder. Und in den langen Armen vom Koffertragen über die steile Treppe ins 2. OG. Geräuschempfindliche Personen könnten sich über die lebendige Umgebung gleich beim Bahnhof aufregen. Uns hat es (trotz offenem Fenster) nichts ausgemacht.

Pros:

Ontbijt was uitstekend, locatie geweldig, vriendelijk personeel. We hadden een geweldige kamer helemaal boven, we misten wel even een airco, het was ook zo warm. Wij komen zeker een keer terug.

budget hotel en prima voor 1 overnachting als het niet te warm is buiten

locatie is prima met parking in de directe omgeving

Cons:

verouderd hotel (dat wisten we) echter geen airco en dat viel met 37 graden buiten erg tegen. Het was namelijk veel te warm om te overnachten omdat we op de 3e etage een kamer hadden. Er was wel een ventilator neergezet echter hielp dat niet tegen de hitte in de kamer

Wenn man auf Schlaf keinen Wert legt, dann kann man hier buchen...

Jede Nacht Feueralarm!!!
Eine Nacht um 3:10, die nächste Nacht um 0:20.
In der ersten Nacht saßen alle Gäste im Pyjama vor dem Hotel und konnten erst wieder aufs Zimmer nachdem die Feuerwehr dies freigegeben hat. Nach 1,5 Stunden!
Auf Kompensation beim Check Out angesprochen wurde versprochen, dass der Chef sich melden würde. Mittlerweile sind dreieinhalb Wochen rum und auf Kontaktversuche meinerseits wird nicht reagiert.
Nicht besonders kundenfreundlich.

Pros:

The location is directly across from the train station, and reception is staffed generous hours, so you can get in when you arrive without having to worry about codes.
They provide good fans in all the rooms.

Cons:

The windows of my room opened directly onto a space that was obviously accessible by intruders, and there was no way to open the windows a bit without giving intruders full access. This meant that at night I had to choose between safety and air (it was very hot).
At breakfast I asked about allergies but could not get the staff even to understand the question. Given my allergies nothing they offered was safe for me to eat, so despite having paid for breakfast I couldn't eat it.

Pros:

Location was great, right in the square beside the train station and lots of restaurants and bars

Good selection for breakfast

Cons:

No air on in the room and the heat was unbearable when it was 25 degrees outside and afternoon sun coming in the window. We had a fan but it wasn’t enough and it was so uncomfortable. It was cooler outside the room was just a sweat box.

No elevator and a small staircase we were in the 3rd floor with heavy luggage (got hotter the higher you went up.

Someone from the hotel just let themselves into our room around 4pm without knocking while we were resting

The restaurant attached was very expensive compared to other places in the square for the same dishes and drinks

We stayed a night that Belgium were in the World Cup and it’s right above a sports bar so it was very noisy until 3am even with earplugs and then bottles started being cleared at 6am waking us again so that coupled with the heat made for a very unsettled night
