Very old world hotel, great aesthetics. Good for a one night experience for something different. Friendly staff
Clearly old and tired. Paint chipping. Could use some love. Living room area closes at 5:30pm so restaurant not open at night
The location was in the centre of town -
So
Good.
The room was very small, no restaurant. There really wasn’t anywhere to plug the jug in - no room for anything.
everything you need brilliant location
climbing into bath for a shower is tricky but minor inconvenience!
Warm welcome.
Beutiful period hotel, great location and staff happy to help with anything. Breakfast was also great.
Street parking only, but saying that had no issues
Everything
Nothing
Booked my balcony, room 2 hours before arrival. I got a call to say human error, and the balcony room was double booked,so I had to stay in a room with no balcony.
Upon arrival, the receptionist did not smile, nor did she seem happy to see me.I questioned that I had been downgraded and that the higher rate had been taken out of my account. She could not work out the difference, and there was some back and forth, until I asked that the manager call me.I was not told about the front doors locking at 6pm or how to get back into the motel.Overall the customer service was absolutly apauling as to was the no information.I will never be staying here again.
Value for money . Loved its heritage. Lovely balcony, bed was so comfortable. It’s a beautiful place to stay .Staff were very pleasant.
Not a complaint as it is an old hotel but worth noting there is no lift and accommodation is on the first floor.
Beautiful old Art Deco building with a huge balcony wrapping the property. Recommend a balcony room as these are bigger. Our room was quiet and nicely decorated but small. Great location
Better wall hair dryers or supply hair dryers
Restored 1930s grand hotel. Beautiful interiors.
