Our first stay at DoubleTree by Hilton oldtown laliley but have visted istambul many times. Very Good ambiance and proffessionalism by the staff especially lady Aleyna at the reception,Mr.Mustafa Pekgoz Bell captain herr for last 12 years and today he becomes a granfather to the newly weds. In addition Gonca karahan , sadiye kocaman & Ocguzhan Durgut my fulltime footage recorder(photographer)at the restaurant;gave us more reason to stay longer and promise you , we will come again. They provided real warmth on top of the nice homely building. We were home away from home. How I wish we could stay longer. The hotel is a great location in the Old Town within a 15 minute walk of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia and minutes from the Vezneciler metro station (which provides easy metro access to the airport) and the tram line. The receptionist was helpful with directions.
The ground floor reception is located in a central atrium that runs from floor to roof and the rooms are located around the atrium. This means you could hear people talking / music in reception in the room.

Mr. Mustafa was very attentive, helpful, and welcoming in the lobby, while Mr. Emir handled reception professionally, quickly, and with great kindness.
Both greatly improved my experience, and I truly appreciate their outstanding hospitality.
I like the location and ease of transport. The bed is comfortable. The staff in the lobby are very helpful efficient and charming..I used room service this visit and it was very good and fast. I also asked the desk to book a trip and this was much quicker and easier than doing it myself.
I feel something unwelcoming about the top floor restaurant.
If a few rooms had a bath that would give more choice.
An overall ,wonderful stay.

The location, on a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants, few minutes from Grand Bazar and 20 min by foot to mosques
water to the toilet didnt work very well , but since I dint stay for longer then it was just ok, but the staff wanted to fix as well, so thumbs up to that

The hotel was well located which was a big plus and the staff were super friendly. A big shout out to Elena for being so helpful with our check out. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. The room was comfortable and clean.
