Great location for access to travel and lots of restaurants are close by.
Pros:

The location is perfect for train, light rail and metro travel

Cons:

There was a towel hanging in the bathroom that had bad stains on it. The toilet looked like it needed a good scrub.

Love the location. Appreciate the staff giving me a room overlooking George st.
The bathrooms are very nice. Love the proximity to all the restaurants in Chinatown and Haymarket

Enjoyable.
Pros:

We have been staying at this hotel for many years and it never disappoints.
We choose to breakfast elsewhere only due to dietary requirements.
We always dine in the restaurant at the hotel and find it excellent value.

Pros:

I did find it difficult to arrange parking and treid ringing many times. I did park in Wislon car park not reliving it was not a 24 hr car Park. That come from the wonderfully Staff and help desk. I truly appricated that I was escorted to help find my car move it into your car park. My many thanx to both of them. I am a veteran Aust Army Medical and deployed with hospital in Rwanda. Ur staff help me in a time of stress.
I do hope to be a regularly patron as give this Stand Up Comedy a try.

Pros:

Great location - train stops just outside - walking distance of lots of sights. Easy access to both harbours. Room a bit small but we were out all day. Laundry room used - all good.

We loved the location of the Great Southern Hotel Sydney. It was so convenient, with Chinatown just a short walk away and the tram right nearby, making it really easy to get into the city with only a couple of stops. It was a great base for exploring Sydney, and we had such a fun and enjoyable stay.

Cons:

The property is starting to feel a little older and could use some updating. However, we felt the price was very reasonable and reflected the age of the hotel, so overall it was still good value for money.
