Great place to stay
Pros:

Family run hotel fantastic amenities, excellent food, fantastic location and couldn’t be more helpful.
As motorcycles, they even let us put motorcycle in their garage so it was secure

Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und gut ausgestattet (mit Badewanne). Das Frühstück war grosszügig, das Abendessen in Halbpension sehr lecker. Der Standort war gut situiert, um den Schwarzwald in allen Richtungen zu entdecken.

Cons:

Die Wassertemperatur bei der Dusche / Badewanne konnte schlecht geregelt werden. Sonst haben wir nichts Negatives zu berichten.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing for several reasons:

* The room was extremely warm, and there was no air conditioning, which made it very uncomfortable, especially at night.
* The quality and selection of the breakfast were very poor and did not meet our expectations.
* The breakfast service was also rather confusing and did not appear to be well organized. We were asked in the corridor what we would like to have for breakfast, without being given any information or menu explaining what could be ordered. This was a very confusing situation for us and did not feel particularly professional.
* While some members of staff were friendly and helpful, we also experienced a lack of professionalism and organization from some employees, which unfortunately affected our overall impression of the hotel.
* The hotel has a nice playground for children, but unfortunately, it was practically unusable because there was no shade to protect the children from the sun.
* The roof window was damaged, and the window fixture was not functioning properly. We therefore had to ask a member of staff for assistance to open it. The employee had to climb onto our bed to reach and open the window. I was unable to close it myself because I was afraid of falling outside. This was both inconvenient and concerning from a safety perspective.

Overall, these issues significantly affected the comfort and quality of our stay. We would have expected a higher level of maintenance, organization, and professionalism from a hotel of this standard.

Hundefreundliches Hotel.
Das Nachtessen war ein 4-Gang-Menue; ausgezeichnet!
Für das Elektroauto gab es eine kostenlose Aufladestation. Top!
