I was very disappointed. The photos don't match the experience.

The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

It was clear that the hotel was doing reservations. We checked in on a Sunday evening. There was construction including drills and power tools until 8 pm. The dry wall on the walls was chipped and left dust on my bags and luggage. There wasn't event a toilet roll dispenser on the wall for the toilet paper. No face cloths. It was clear the were fixing up the place but it wasn't worth the price I paid.

Overcharges and NO FIRE ALARM?

While check in and check out was quick and easy, that’s where it ends.

If you choose to stay here, make sure to check your bank statements! When checking in we also asked if there was a BCAA discount. The front desk assured us he would give us a “good deal” and offered us our room for $180. We gave $100 cash and were told that our credit card would be due the remaining $80 plus gst. They ended up charging us $130 though. I assumed it was a mistake, but was told they never “noted” the discount. They said the man who offered us the discount would call us back to explain but never heard from him. When I asked to talk to management, they said he would call us and they HUNG UP ON ME. I have called multiple time to try to get this over charged worked out, but they continually gas light me or hang up on me.

They also do not follow safety protocols. Right away upon entering the room, we noticed that the fire alarm kept beeping. We told the front desk and all he did was offer to take it off for the night. Since it was late and we just wanted to sleep, we agreed and slept in an illegal room with no working fire alarm.

Best service ever

We were in a family emergency with my niece in the ICU for weeks- they took care of my sister like she was family and kept strangers away from her when I was not able to be with her

Pros:

The room was nice, though a little smallish. great decor and furniture and the beds were comfy.

Cons:

The breakfast was a tad disappointing as the potatoes were not crispy and tasted "old", the food was exactly the same each day and the bread products looked like they hadn't been replaced from the previous day.
