La ubicación.

Cons:

hotel de gama bajita. Es bastante antiguo, le hace falta una buena reforma. el desayuno la verdad que no muy bien. Fruta y verdura bastante pasada.. Las camas no muy cómodas. Quizás si el precio fuese más bajito si que encajaría el perfil de hotel, pero por el precio que tiene nos esperábamos algo mucho mejor..

Sijainti hyvä siten, että oli helppo tehdä lyhyt vaellus jäätikölle.

Cons:

Huone todella pieni, matkalaukkua ei mahdu avaamaan. Hotelli muutenkin ”kulahtanut”. Ruoka täysin mautonta/ kuivaa. Aamiainen niukka.

I rather drive another half an hour to other hotel, if I knew the hotel conditions

Pros:

Location! Glaciers is just a stone throw away. Dull ice flowers field just behind the hotel with glaciers in the background. Room is reasonably size and comfy bed. Dinner and breakfast were great. Best stay in Skaftafell area. Not cheap but acceptable for summer season.

Pros:

It was conveniently located for our trip. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast provided was very good with a great selection.

Cons:

It was very expensive for such a tiny room. This property will not let you check in even a minute early.

Lage, man kann zu Fuß zur Gletscherzunge wandern

Cons:

einfaches Frühstück, Bad sehr klein-Plastikduschvorhang der aufgrund der Enge ständig an einem klebte, Check Inn eine halbe Stunde vorher(15:30Uhr)war nicht möglich, unsere Aussicht war geradewegs in ein anderes Zimmer, Abendessen würde wir in naher Tankstelle empfehlen

Pros:

Perfect location for our work trip. The shared triple room was affordable and meals onsite were excellent.
Fantastic views all around but particularly behind the hotel, across the fields of Lupins (in June) towards Iceland's highest peak, Hvannadalshnúkur. Beautiful!

Not worth the USD 300 per night
Pros:

I stayed here for the location as its a 5 mins drive to the meeting point for activities
Breakfast was good

Cons:

Paid usd 300+ for a lousy cheap room. The bed was too soft and makes so much sound when i move. Very old hotel, very old rooms

Pros:

Davvero pulita, anche la stanza nonostante la presenza della moquette che non è particolarmente igienica, difficile da pulire a fondo. Stanza un po’ datata e scarna ma letti davvero comodissimi e doccia molto apprezzata.

Cons:

Prezzi del ristorante astronomici, già in Islanda il prezzo del cibo non è accessibilissimo, ma nel ristorante dell’hotel è oltremodo spropositato, tenendo anche conto che l’unico altro posto dove cenare è nel fast food/tavola calda nel benzinaio di fronte. Prezzi modici (relativamente ai prezzi islandesi) e di buona qualità.

Overall superb experience
Pros:

Great location. Close to glacier hike tour, decent breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff

Cons:

The rooms were a little warm and the bathroom didn’t have ventilation but not anything that couldn’t be solved by opening the room window
