A pleasant stay, and I plan to return.
Pros:

Kingscliff is fresh, airy and has a well thought out layout, bar and restaurant are comfortable and all the staff I spoke with were professional and friendly it’s location is ideal for a quiet base near enough to visit the main Clacton area.

Young staff excellent and friendly. Bar lounge, restaurant, patio and garden very good. Car parking good.

Total let down, well disappointed
Pros:

Location….

We’re 73 and room was as far down a maze of corridors as you could get. Tiny room was as basic as it gets, room drink facilities hardly any, no way to contact reception, no internet instructions or code anywhere, and bed, well that really done it for us.. rock hard and the two tiny cheap pillows even harder. Shower room so tiny you can hardly turn around in it, not even room to hang up the towels. Window opens six inches only, with no fan so no airflow at all, then extra large extractor for the kitchen comes on outside at six o’clock just to make sure your awake.. with lovely view of the rear car park. If the shoe box was half the price we definitely wouldn’t stay at this place again.

Won't be using this hotel again
Pros:

Didn't have breakfast. Had lunch it was very good. Rooms did not seem to be worth £200 per night just basic
