Breakfast selection was great and clearly the location is remarkable! Close to everywhere you need to be in Stockholm.
Room was a bit tiny but seems to be the norm in the city hotels.
The Nobis Stockholm is a beautiful hotel with a clean, modern design that makes a strong first impression. Rooms and public spaces are well put together aesthetically, and the overall feel is polished and contemporary.
I stayed six nights in a Deluxe room, which had a nice seating area and was a comfortable size, though closet space was very limited, something that becomes more noticeable the longer you stay. The bed is comfortable, pillows on the softer side depending on your preference. The bathroom is lovely with a good shower and tub, but counter space for toiletries was surprisingly tight.
The front desk and concierge team were the highlight of the stay, genuinely exceptional. A standout moment: Stockholm has strict car seat laws and getting a taxi with a young child is nearly impossible through ride-share apps. One of the front desk staff went out of their way to give us their personal contact so we could reach out directly whenever we needed a taxi arranged from outside the hotel. That kind of initiative is rare and makes a real difference.
A few things worth flagging before you book. There is no doorman and the entrance has stairs, which makes arriving with a stroller genuinely difficult, especially when a child has fallen asleep. No one proactively helps with luggage unless you ask. Housekeeping was a weak point throughout the stay: cleaning felt surface-level, and turndown service was minimal and inconsistent. No evening amenity of any kind. On one occasion I was getting ready to go out and asked the housekeeper to come back in 30 minutes. It was 6:45pm. She said no because she was done for the day and left. On another occasion the bed was only partially turned down on the side that had not been slept in, while the side I had actually used was left exactly as I had left it after a nap. It is also worth noting that the Nobis was the only hotel on our entire trip that did not leave any bath amenities for my toddler.
Breakfast was okay but leaned toward the lower end of what you would expect at this price point. Basic add-ons like ham on scrambled eggs came with an extra charge. The in-house restaurant BINO is not recommended: service was very slow, nearly absent at times, and the food did not deliver. Clients are better off exploring the neighborhood for dining, which is great.
Overall the Nobis is a solid pick for travelers who prioritize design and location, but it does not fully deliver on the service and dining experience you would expect at this level.
Location is terrific, staff at front desk too
WiFi sucks, elevator capacity is undersized, unacceptable wait, and housekeeping is not consistent.
Konum ve konukseverliği
Welcomed by staff with a smile and helpful information. Beautifully appointed room with complimentary still water. Large bathroom and sitting area. Wonderful service.
Frühstück im Kellerraum. Keine Fenster.
The location was good.
Where to begin. Our room was at the front of the hotel and the street noise in the night was unbearable - even with earplugs and noise cancelling headphones and the window closed it was still too loud to sleep. We heard one of the staff walk past our room saying “people complain about it all the time”. I really wish this was something that had been disclosed - it feels a little dishonest that we’re paying top rates for a room that’s impossible to sleep in. The front desk said at check in he thought I would “prefer” a front facing room because of the view but made no mention of the constant noise going into the night - apparently the car parades with noisy exhausts going up and down the street is a thing in the summer months and people rev their engines until well past midnight. Not cool.
When we got in the room, one of the bathrobes was dirty with a stain down the front. The room itself was pretty small, but I guess that’s expected in a city like Stockholm.
The spa is pathetic. It’s not anywhere that can be classed as a chill out area. A tiny steam room and sauna that barely reaches 60 degrees. It’s not a luxury experience in there.
The breakfast is chaos. We were barged into by the staff running about. The tables are super close together which makes the experience feel crammed. Eggs were under-cooked and when I asked for a cooked egg, I waited 20 minutes before giving up hope. I ordered a flat white and got a cappuccino, then ordered another flat white and got a double espresso. We thought it was funny in the end. Absolutely not a 5 star experience and disappointing for the amount it cost. Would not recommend it here.
