Beautiful and quiet hotel in lovely grounds
Pros:

Lovely old school good sized low rise Spanish style hotel with beautiful grounds and lovely pool area - nice terraces and lovely big rooms , very good car park and cheap cabs to the port - decent breakfast

Cons:

Atmosphereless at night - not necessarily a negative but might be for some, no entertainment etc, in fact no one around - sophisticated and quiet - personally we were ok with that but some may find it a bit non youthful

A gem of a hotel!
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed walking to the port each day. There was great facilities within the hotel and we found it easy booking padel courts at the times we wanted.
Room was comfortable and great value for money.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like particularly. They could do with having more staff at lunch times at the pool bar as wait times can be fairly long when you’re waiting to be served, the menu could also benefit from some different items to keep it interesting. But otherwise the hotel was great.

Pros:

Fantastic place and the most sociable hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Loved it and location to harbour brilliant

Cons:

The breakfasts were fantastic but I didn’t rate the room service or lunch food as highly. A bit mid level lunch food but bar service and pool staff were absolutely amazing (particularly during a storm)

Loved it apart from the pool safety down to just a few children not being supervised by parents
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and all delicious! Room and balcony were lovely, very quiet and spacious. We loved the three tier pool with different depths suitable for adults and children.

Cons:

The abuse of the pool by families who let their children run around unsupervised. It was too much for one lifeguard to cope with as the families involved blatantly waited for their back to be turned. Children were jumping from the top pool into the one below, very easy to slip and an accident to happen. We saw very young children just left by their older siblings on the steps of the large pool, they had no lifevests on and clearly could not swim. Several guests saw this and were concerned, but the lifeguard could not see this from their seat. The parents involved were in the bar watching football. These were all British families I am ashamed to say! When the pool was closed for the evening, the same children were again in the top pool jumping into the lower pool, but nobody told them to get out as the pool was closed.
