On my first night, there was no hot water, only lukewarm. The staff tried their best to help and I appreciated their attentiveness, but it didn't improve until the morning.

Only stayed at this hotel, hung up clothes and specific expensive items of clothing have gone missing. Have messaged the hotel but no reply yet

We were surprised on arrival, at the time advertised, that our room was not ready and we were offered a room on the lower ground floor (basement to most). We refused this and chose to wait in the garden for our room to be ready..
We informed reception of concerns we had about some maintenance and cleanliness in the room and were assured we would receive an email about this. We have received no further communication.

truc incroyable . pas de prise électrique du tout dans la salle de bain .. pas pratique pour sécher les cheveux ou se raser ...

The bathrooms are dated, looks like it was a travelodge or premier inn before and they left the old bathrooms rather than updating them.

On a un peu l'impression que c'est un hôtel qui a été à la mode il y a quelques années et n'a pas été super bien entretenu. Le cadre est joli globalement mais dans les détails tout est un peu fatigué :-(

Sometimes difficult to follow equipment manuals online - some models seem to have been superceded?

What really annoys me is being sprung with the we don’t clean your room, that old covid hangover, that some hotels hold onto. We had to ask for fresh towels, teabags and to get our rubbish picked up which had to be left in the hallway.
With a funky hotel you also get the staff that are to cool to be polite and helpful.

Key didn't work for room. They couldn't get us a key so we didn't have a key to get in the whole stay. We had to ask reception to let us in each time.

Its a service apartment which I didn't realise while I was booking. They only offer room cleaning once in 7 days. Breakfast is very very limited.

No coffee in the room but lots of tea? Not everyone drinks tea...

Food at the restaurant wasn’t amazing but also wasn’t bad.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was completely unacceptable.
This was not a case of a few corners or small areas being overlooked. It was very clear that the room had not been properly cleaned for a long time. Apart from the sink, which appeared to have been wiped, essentially everything else was visibly dirty. The walls around the sink were dirty, as were the tiled bathroom walls in general. The shower head was particularly disgusting, with black residue on it, and the silicone around the bathtub was also black. The toilet paper holder was covered in a slimy layer of dust, and the bin was visibly dirty. The toilet itself was not clean either.
The condition of the floor was also very noticeable. I had bought new slippers in London and wore them exclusively inside the room for a couple of days. They became visibly dirty simply from walking around the room.

After our first night, we specifically asked for the room to be cleaned in the morning. When we returned in the evening, we realised that it had not been cleaned at all, so we asked again. The room was eventually cleaned, but this only seemed to involve wiping the sink and vacuuming the floor. Even then, the vacuuming was not thorough, with a lot of dust still visible in the corners. Overall, the room was honestly no cleaner than it had been before.
We therefore did not ask for it to be cleaned again, as we did not see the point if the same standard of cleaning was simply going to be repeated.
It is a real shame, because the hotel has a great location, friendly staff and beautiful design. It could be a lovely place to stay, but this level of dirt and lack of proper cleaning is simply unacceptable for a hotel.
