Please be informed that Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP) has announced a scheduled water supply disruption in Penang from 25th to 28th April 2025.

The hotel will remain fully operational during this period. We have taken proactive measures to ensure minimal disruption and maintain all our guests' comfort and convenience.

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Due to late flights, we arrived at Yeng Keng Hotel at 5am. I had informed the hotel and they had been very communicative and reassuring that there would be hotel staff to greet us; it was no problem at all. When we arrived, they were truly delightful, bringing us a refreshing local drink and checking us in quickly and with huge smiles. We were shown to our rooms which were spotless and very comfortable.

Cons:

Very little! The hotel café/restaurant closed between 3-6pm so there was no way to order any food or drink (other than water or tea/coffee) during this time which was a shame.

Sehr gute Wahl, um George Town zu erleben
Pros:

Kleines historisches Hotel in der Altstadt. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Kleiner sauberer Pool, wo wir nachmittags im ein Platz gefunden haben.

Cons:

Beautiful heritage hotel
Pros:

Beautiful heritage hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Amazing friendly staff, everyone had a ready smile and took their time to answer any questions and give us any information.
Pool and garden area is so pretty and cute, good variety at breakfast.

Parfait pour 2-3 jours
Pros:

Emplacement parfait pour visiter George Town à pied! L’hôtel est très beau et atypique, petit déjeuner diversifié et bon. Personnel est au petit soin, ils nous ont même aidé pour contacter une agence de location de voiture! La piscine est un plus bien agréable.

Cons:

La chambre est un peu petite pour 3 personnes, les toilettes dans la salle de bain pas toujours pratique mais pour 2-3 jours ça allait.

Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
Pros:

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay at Yeng Keng. The location was close to everything you need. It was magical to just walk outside and stroll along all the colorful streets and smell the aromas of some of the best food we’ve had in Malaysia. The staff was outstanding! So helpful and polite and made us feel very special. Shout out to Yeoh…customer service like we’ve never had before. The hotel was beautiful and full of character and charm. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again!

Location is great, so is the hospitality of the staff. The property is lovely and clean.

Cons:

The room is on the smaller side and the mattress is very hard! We read about the same issue in some of the other reviews on this platform but did not pay attention to it until we faced it ourselves. Couldn't have a proper sleep.
