Great place to stay to see Sleep No More!
Pros:

I liked that the room was clean, aesthetically pleasing, I felt very at ease compared to the previous place I stayed at which had a smelly room. I liked the fact that the bathroom was spacious, the shower was big enough and could put my toiletries on the seat in the shower. I liked the fluffy towels, the crisp linen on the bed, and also the size & firmness of the pillows - it was perfect. I really liked the no fuss check in, and the fact I was there a little earlier than official check in time and they allowed me to check in. Location was perfect for what I came to Shanghai to do - to see Sleep No More which was only about 10 mins away.

Cons:

The bar & lounge downstairs was a bit hit & miss - the Caesar salad was a bit soggy and lettuce a bit limp, but the deep fried chicken wings were delicious and hot (coincidentally the lettuce salad that came on the side with the chicken wings was also limp and the chips were a bit cold). Not a big deal and could have been a once off.

Wifi facility was a big headache. Got a cockroach roaming inside our room. Staff not very friendly but not hostile either

Cons:

There was cigarette smoke smell entering into my room on the last night I can’t define if from corridor or other room but it was notices for 2 to 3 hours, unfortunately

Very good hotel, next to the metro and the railway stations
Pros:

[EN] Great breakfast, serving both chinese/asian and european food. Very good gym and a nice pool.

[PL] Świetne śniadanie, z zarówno kuchnią chińską/azjatycką, jak i europejską. Bardzo dobrze wyposażona siłownia, dobry basen.

Cons:

[EN] There were a lot of issues with the WiFi connection and VPN, but it's rather country specific, not neccessarily hotel related.

[PL] Mieliśmy sporo problemów z hotelowym WiFi i VPN, ale to chyba bardziej specyfika kraju niż tego konkretnego hotelu.

Pros:

Good luck calling the operator they never answer and when they do, they don’t speak English

Cons:

I hate everything about this hotel the location the staff the very old outdated furniture the very old outdated policies the breakfast smells bad The chef asked me to go grab my own butter for my eggs a retaliation move he made after I requested “due two religious prohibition” a clean washed skillet not just the staff does not speak English but they will give you an attitude. With this being said and in all fairness, I would like to thank Mr Loki He for helping with my insurance payment issue which btw I haven’t got it yet
