Rooftop eccezionale, colazione ottima, camera spaziosa, ambiente British

Garden, staff, parking.
Noisy air conditioning on the balcony. Cofee at breakfast.
Το ίδιο το κτήριο !! Είναι απολαυστικό να πίνεις το κρασί σου το βράδυ σε αυτόν τον κήπο !
We loved the hotel! It was cozy, well maintained, and the staff was great. The breakfast was good. I loved the garden and the roof top garden, I think it could be even better with rooftop furniture but I guess that's not the idea of it. These 2 places are perfect if you want to be outside. Perfect location, close to the city center, 20 minutes walk by the sea. The room was big, it looked smaller on the pictures. The AC was working good, even in hot days. the fitness center is fine, but it was really hot in it, and doesn't look new, it does the job.
You can hear everything from the other rooms, if you are noise sensitive, don't forget your earplugs. But it's like that everywhere. The AC was making a lot on noise the first 2 nights, but then it stopped. Don't expect a view if you are on the first floor, but there is a nice balcony, a small table can be added. The small pool and the jacuzzi are really nice but I saw many people not getting a shower before using them, which grossed me out. There is only one sign to take a shower and is close to the shower.
Elegant and traditional.
I would like to see UK national flag on display!
Nice hotel, very clean and nice decorated. Breakfast just ok to start the day
The hotel is located just 10 minutes from the beach, but it takes 25–30 minutes to reach the Old Town. It is somewhat expensive for Greece.
Every year we start and end our trip in Halepa Hotel. It’s such a nice place. First of all there is the building, an old embassy and you still see the beautiful furniture and decorations. The rooms are beautiful, a good bed, a good shower, a small balcony and you have space to move in your room. But most important there’s the manager and all the people that work there. The people at the reception are always available, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day and you feel that breakfast is made with love. There is also taxi service to the airport. Thanks to all of you and see you next year. With love, Marc and Annick
Ps, don’t forget to visit the archeological museum. It’s behind Halepa Hotel. It’s really worth to visit it. The bar of t he museum (you can go there after the museum visit, but has also separate entrance) has a big balcony with a panoramic view over Chania.
Is a scam. Keep looking
Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, mainly due to the attitude of the staff and the way guest concerns were handled.
During our stay, I suffered a minor facial burn caused by sudden and significant fluctuations in the shower water temperature. When we reported the issue to the hotel staff, particularly the manager, we expected concern and a willingness to resolve the problem. Instead, we felt that the attitude towards us changed noticeably afterward.
Later, our room was not cleaned. When we asked for housekeeping, we had to request it multiple times. At one point, we were handed garbage bags and effectively told to deal with part of the situation ourselves. When we explained that room cleaning is a basic hotel service, the response we received was that the staff were tired and in a bad mood. To make matters worse, they laughed while discussing the issue, which we found highly unprofessional and disrespectful.
What disappointed us most was not the mistakes themselves, as problems can happen in any hotel. It was the lack of hospitality, empathy, and accountability in addressing them. We felt that our concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously.
The breakfast was also very poor and well below what we expected for the price and category of the property.
Crete offers many excellent accommodation options. Based on our experience, I would encourage future travelers to consider spending a little more and staying elsewhere. Good service, professionalism, and respect for guests are worth far more than saving a few euros.
Unfortunately, this hotel failed to provide any of those qualities.

Location. Interior decor. Cleanliness. Warm hospitality. Helpful staff.
Nothing as such was unpleasant
Manager went out of his way to fix my phone. It was a Sunday and everything was closed. He patiently helped me and saved the day’
