I am definitely going back, fully recommended!
Pros:

Everything! The location is great, 25 mins walk to the old town, parking always available and in front of the sea! Breakfast is delicious, staff very kind and there is access to the jacuzzi

A pleasant hotel with great staff and amenities, but our stay was ruined by a non-working A/C in Room 314 that left
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room, great beds, good breakfast, convenient parking, and a 10-minute drive to Chania center. Friendly staff and special thanks to the French-speaking receptionist.

Cons:

The A/C in Room 314 was stuck on fan mode and did not cool at all. The room stayed at 27.5°C all night. Although we booked two rooms (and the other room was perfectly cold), staff insisted our room's A/C was "normal" after we complained multiple times. We suffered in the heat all night.

A classy, comfortable and very pleasant hotel, perfect for a short stay in Chania before flying home
Pros:

We stayed at Halepa Hotel for just one night before our flight home from Chania, so it was a short but very pleasant stay. Our family of four had two double rooms, both clean, comfortable and well air-conditioned.

Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and exactly what we needed before travelling. We were quite tired after days of sun and beach, so we did not use many of the hotel facilities.

The hotel itself has a lot of character. It looks almost like an old embassy or elegant residence, with a very classy atmosphere, a beautiful outdoor sitting area and a fountain.

The location worked very well for our final night in Chania, and a major advantage was the private parking. Having easy parking in Chania made arriving with luggage and leaving for the airport much more convenient.

Cons:

Nothing significant. The only thing worth mentioning for visitors unfamiliar with Chania is the parking arrangement. The hotel parking is behind the building, and you need the hotel keycard to open the gate. This means you first have to stop and check in before you can access the parking area.

It is not really a problem once you know how it works, but with parking in Chania already being quite difficult, it would be useful to know this before arriving.
