After experiencing the earthquake on Monday, I was quite shaken. I was staying in Room 404 on the fourth floor, and the hotel staff was extremely helpful. Because there was a crack in the wall, they quickly relocated us to a room on the second floor, which made us feel much safer.
Despite the curfew, the staff was also very accommodating and helped us arrange a taxi for Tuesday morning. The taxi picked us up at 4:30 a.m. and took us to the airport.
I truly appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and support of the hotel staff during such a stressful and unexpected situation. Their assistance made a difficult experience much easier for us.
The breakfast selection was quite limited and could have offered more variety.
The hotel is well located and an easy walk to Bulevar del Rio and La Calle del Sabor. The hotel rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Shopping centre and a 24hr OXXO are within 5 minutes walking distance.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the front desk is manned 24hr.
Loved that the bedroom had blackout blinds.
The rooms are sparsely furnished - twin bed junior suite with one side table and one plug point available. (In comparison, the lounge area had many plug points.)
The bedding is very basic but clean.
The window of our suite faces atrium and it seems many rooms face into this space so you can’t lift the blinds if you want privacy.
The front desk staff seem disempowered and have to call the manager to make decisions all the time.
The check in was delayed by close to an hour due to a large group arrival. We left our bags earlier and the check in could easily have been done then to avoid the congestion.
