Lovely comfortable stay… wish we could have stayed longer … the sea view rooms are smashing … This will be our go to hot

Warm,friendly,quirky,sad to be going home!
Pros:

Very conveniently placed. Sea front. And on Preston St..where the nightlife is absolutely buzzing! Every different restaurant you can imagine! And bars galore! Excellent!!

As a solo, female, older woman I had fears beforehand which disappeared as soon as I arrived & was welcomed to this
Pros:

Friendly staff, comfortable & clean room, interesting views, lovely old building,
gluten free breakfast.

Cons:

Safety worries beforehand about sharing a dormitory and whether my upgrade had been accepted.

A hostel near to the beach
Pros:

Location - near to the beach

I left my vest and was able to get it back after a few days.

Cons:

No facilities, not very clean on the whole
I got back my vest but it was all wet as if washed before.

Second time I’ve been, deluxe rooms noticeably better but standard is still great, will return!
Pros:

- friendly staff
- ultra comfy pillows/bed
- sea front and perfect location
- super fast check in
- quick lift
- big rooms
- everything you need

Cons:

- got a bit cold, radiators projecting no real heat
- extractor fan in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off which is annoying trying to sleep
- shower was lukewarm
