Ein angenehmer Golfurlaub – mit etwas Auffrischung wäre der K Club ein echtes Highlight
Pros:

Das Zimmer war angenehm gross und sauber, hätte aber eine Renovierung verdient. Beim Frühstücksbuffet wäre mehr Vielfalt – vor allem eine bessere Brotauswahl – wünschenswert. Das Dinner war solide, ohne zu begeistern.

Cons:

Der K Club hat zweifellos seinen Charme, würde jedoch von einer Renovierung profitieren – eine Auffrischung würde den Aufenthalt spürbar angenehmer machen.

Another great stay
Pros:

Great room with a view of the river, excellent breakfast. The staff team, from welcome to goodbye, is exceptional. Our every need was met.

Cons:

I would like to see a little more choice on the Barton grill dinner menu for diners wanting a lighter meal. On our second evening we ate in the Henry Room, which was great, but a bit early for us as food service stops at 5pm.

Some tweaks needed to make it perfect but it won’t stop us from returning. We had a fabulous stay in a fabulous hotel.
Pros:

Everything (almost) - the hotel itself, the fabulous grounds, the large bedrooms (even standard rooms) the restaurants, the gorgeous massages and the pleasant and attentive service.

Cons:

The pool area and changing facilities are not 5 star. The vegetarian/vegan meal options could be improved (considered protein sources would really make it 5 star!) and some dishes at South were not great. We also had an issue on check out with our voucher not being deducted from our bill as expected.

A fabulous location with a brilliant team
Pros:

Excellent location, really lovely staff team, nothing was too much trouble

Gorgeous hotel
Pros:

Loved the main house, loved the bed. Fergus the transfer guy was so lovely. He took us to the local and we had such a laugh with him.

Cons:

The spa was not 5star. Run down and really disappointed. The food and atmosphere in the Palmer was only ok. It was so spread out and a strange meal.

Pros:

Richard on reception was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Rooms were beautiful clean comfortable.
Breakfast was varied and delicious. Treatments in the spa were amazing.

Cons:

Some of the communal spaces corridors etc are looking very tired. The spa pool area also looking a little tired and Jacuzzi outdoor wasn’t working.

Pros:

The whole experience makes you feel special. All staff are friendly and helpful. Room was exceptional.
Knowing it was our wedding anniversary they also prepared a special piece of cake with our names iced on top in the room . This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in .
