Pros:

Das Frühstück fand in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre statt. Das Buffet hatte einiges zu bieten, großer Pluspunkt meinerseits ist das laktosefreie und pflanzliche Angebot.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß sind es nur wenige Minuten bis zum Tempodrom.

Cons:

Leider begann unser Aufenthalt bereits bei der Ankunft sehr unangenehm. Als wir den Empfang betraten, wurden wir weder begrüßt noch willkommen geheißen. Stattdessen wurden wir lediglich mit einem knappen „Ja?“ empfangen.
Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig sei. Auf die Nachfrage, wann wir mit der Fertigstellung rechnen könnten, erhielten wir die Auskunft, dass man dies selbst nicht wisse. Als ich anschließend darum bat, das Frühstück dazuzubuchen, hatte ich den Eindruck, dass dies bei der Mitarbeiterin eher auf Unmut stieß.
Besonders irritierend war, dass ich meine Karte auf das Lesegerät legen sollte, ohne zuvor über die anfallenden Kosten informiert zu werden. Zum Glück überprüfte ich den Betrag vor der Zahlung, da dort über 238 Euro angezeigt wurden. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob das nicht ungewöhnlich viel für das Frühstück sei, wurde mir erklärt, dass es sich um die Zahlung für das Zimmer handle – obwohl dieses bereits im April vollständig bezahlt worden war. Die entsprechenden Zahlungsbelege wollte die Mitarbeiterin zunächst nicht einsehen. Erst nachdem sich meine Schwester einschaltete, erklärte sie sich bereit, den Vorgang nochmals zu prüfen. Am Ende stellte sich heraus, dass lediglich das Frühstück zu bezahlen war.
Während des gesamten Check-ins fühlte ich mich sehr unwohl. Die Mitarbeiterin wirkte durchgehend genervt und brachte dies auch mehrfach verbal zum Ausdruck. Besonders befremdlich war ein Telefonat, das sie während unserer Diskussion entgegennahm. Einen anderen Gast begrüßte sie am Telefon lediglich mit den Worten: „Empfang. Was wollen Sie?“
In diesem Moment habe ich tatsächlich darüber nachgedacht, die Buchung zu stornieren und mir eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen. Leider war auch ihr Kollege keine wirkliche Unterstützung bei der Klärung der Situation.
Ein freundlicher und professioneller Empfang ist für mich ein wesentlicher Bestandteil eines Hotelaufenthalts. Umso enttäuschender war diese Erfahrung.

Ich kann das Hotel vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen.
Pros:

Ich habe selten so kompetentes und freundliches Personal an der Rezeption erlebt. Hervorragender Gästeservice als "Gast des Tages" mit kostenfreien Zusatzleistungen wie z.B. Frühstück (obwohl nicht gebucht) und frühzeitigem Check-In. Und immer mit einem Lächeln und einem netten Spruch verbunden - ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Für den Preis nehme ich in Zukunft einen längeren Weg in Kauf. Dort buchen wir nicht noch einmal.

Kein Vergleich zu den anderen NH Hotels, die wir kennen. Schon eher älter, grundsätzlich sauber, aber Preis Leistung passt hier nicht im Vergleich zu den neuen modernen NH Hotels
