Pros:

La struttura è un caravanserraglio storico che, in seguito a un incendio che l'ha molto danneggiato, ha subito una ristrutturazione radicale eseguita indubbiamente con gusto. Si trova proprio all'ingresso della cittadella antica di Ankara. Le camere sono arredate anche con pezzi di pregio.
Alcuni membri dello staff sono stati cortesi e accoglienti. La persona che ci ha accolto ha mostrato grande disponibilità e attenzione.

Cons:

Nonostante la sua bellezza, non può essere considerato un albergo a cinque stelle. Nessuno dei servizi è all'altezza.
A parte uno dei camerieri del ristorante, nessuno dello staff (tra le persone che ho incontrato) parla inglese adeguatamente.
Per accedere bisogna scendere una decina di scalini: noi eravamo in due con i bagagli per 15 giorni e nessuno ci ha dato una mano, né all'arrivo, né alla partenza.
La colazione è preparata con grande lentezza con ingredienti di qualità abbastanza scarsa. Nella capitale della Turchia non mi aspetto un pain au chocolat a colazione ma, se c'è, non può essere surgelato e avere la crema al posto delle gocce di cioccolato. Formaggi troppo salati o insapori. E potrei continuare.
İn camera mancavano il set da stiro previsto, e la scrivania.
Davo per scontato che ci fosse un minibar in camera (rileggendo la descrizione, effettivamente non era indicato) che mi sembra importante per tenere in fresco almeno dell'acqua.
Propongono un "pillow menu" ma ho chiesto dei cuscini speciali, mi hanno detto che li avrebbero portati e non sono mai arrivati.

Hotel di L buon livello in un antico caravanserraglio, edificio storico di charme
Pros:

Bellissima struttura, edificio storico di fascino proprio di fronte all’entrata del castello nella parte vecchia della città. La posizione eccellente così come la stanza e la colazione servita in una terrazza panoramica. Chicca aggiuntiva: gli ospiti possono visitare gratuitamente un museo particolarissimo che si trova all’interno della grande struttura e che merita una visita anche veloce.

Cons:

L’unico neo è stato che nell’ unico giorno in cui abbiamo alloggiato abbiamo assistito a due ricevimenti di matrimonio proprio nella hall che merita di essere vista con un po’ di calma, tuttavia non ci hanno arrecato nessun particolare disagio.

Amazing location, historical building and comfortable bed 🩵
Pros:

Beautiful rooms, great location, help with parking and also we asked for late checkout and it was kindly accepted

Also very comfortable bed!

Cons:

Some of employees were not that friendly, we asked for a room service and it was not efficient.
Can’t recommend food and restaurant of the hotel.

A Spectacularly Beautiful Heritage Hotel
Pros:

This is a very special hotel. The space is spectacular, the room comfortable and beautifully decorated, the bathroom immaculate and spacious and luxurious. Checking in was smooth - our car was parked for us right in front of the hotel - our room's view over the city interesting and expansive. We were traveling with our young adult son and our room with two double beds was plenty roomy. We had romantic drinks and dessert in the hotel restaurant overlooking Ankara. Our breakfast was sunny and yummy and the service was graceful. We fell out of the hotel into the spectacular Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. The castle is across the street. The winding hilltop streets are quaint. We had a very tasty snack down the street from the hotel.
