Next time we have a function in the area, we will definitely choose to stay here again.
Pros:

We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, it was really nice. The bed was very comfortable. We made use of the onsite gym and swimming pool - a real added bonus.

The room and the bathroom were very spacious and the beds were comfortable.
the pool was nice and the spa was lovely.
a 3 minute drive to the main street shops was handy.

Cons:

The brick footpaths were a tad slippery
The pool was kid friendly, it didn't have a shallower end for my 4 yr old to stand.
The shower could have been a little bigger but it was clean.
