Hotel is conveniently located near the airport. Room is new and everything is managed with a tablet. It was clean

Cons:

The shower did not work which was a major problem just before a flight. After several days I am still waiting to get the issue resolved. No offer of discount have been made. Not a happy experience.

Such a disappointment especially in comparison with another hotel we had stayed at right before

We stayed one night at CitizenM Amsterdam Airport Shiphol hotel and will never ever book CitizenM stays anywhere else. The room was too small for the two of us and there was nowhere to open and pack carry-ons (let alone luggage). Only one plus - the hotel is located within a 5-7 minute walk to the Shiphol airport and the train station.

Cons:

We didn't like the room at all - it looked more like a Red District kind of hotel room. Everything red - it is cheap looking. Not sure what was the concept they were going for, but definitely not modern or futuristic. The floors look like corridors with faceless cell doors side to side. The room was tiny and the width of the room fit the king-size bed which was placed sideways to the window - meaning the person sleeping on the window side literally has to crawl over the person sleeping on the other side to get out of bed. Shower was not clean in our room. All in all it was rather disappointing for the price we paid.
