Tinha acabado de chegar e a primeira coisa que queriam era que assinasse um documento a responsabilizar-me pela bolsa que continha a chave, o argumento foi que muita gente não entregava a bolsa no check out, achei extremamente inconveniente, desagradável e não assinei. Não é só a decoração que faz um Hotel, demasiadas falhas graves para um Hotel de 4 Estrelas que não sei como as mantém, falta de pressão da água na casa de banho, barulho proveniente do autoclismo durante toda a noite, demasiado barulho vindo do chão no corredor, etc... . Tendo sido sugerido um Restaurante perto por um amigo, quando perguntei ao funcionário onde seria foi-me desaconselhado porque seria muito escuro e com feed back dos clientes como mau, foi na mesma jantar a esse restaurante que de escuro não tinha nada e com uma qualidade e serviço prestado excelente, deduzi que como estava inserido num Hotel o objetivo seria não ter contacto com o espaço, há mercado para todos, muito deselegante da parte da Funcionária. O pequeno almoço com fruta tocada, café leite em termos e frios, salmão fumado fora do fresco ao ar, ovos mexidos feitos há muito tempo, enfim, um desastre. Resumindo, 173€ por uma noite e um Hotel a não voltar e que não aconselho a ninguém por tudo o que foi exposto.

Charming medieval ambiance
Pros:

The hotel is beautifully decorated to reflect the medieval feel of Óbidos, down to the large metal key used to open the room's door. The staff was helpful in guiding us to our room and showing us how to open the door. We particularly liked that the hotel was right next to one of the entries in the wall around the city, and we had a nice view of the town from our room. The hotel has a parking garage, but we were able to find parking on the street. The hotel was also very close to a couple restaurants outside the wall, which was convenient.

Cons:

When we woke up in the morning to take our showers, there was nothing but cold water. We contacted the front desk, who initially said there was no problem and that the water heater was set to 65. However, other clients must have complained as well, because the staff eventually admitted that there was a problem. They were able to get it repaired fairly quickly, but unfortunately not before it was time for us to leave. I had to wash my hair in cold water and wait until our next destination to take a shower.

Quaint stay in heart of Obidos with parking and pool
Pros:

Such a convenient location, just outside the walls of the tiny touristy town of Obidos. There was a complementary garage, charming rooms done up in a current but medieval style (very clean), and complimentary breakfast and 7 pm welcome wine. The swimming pool and private grounds were a bonus for our time there. Definitely recommend!!

Excellent choice for our overnight stay Óbidos.
Pros:

The location was ideal, the staff very helpful, our room was spacious and very comfortable, the rooftop pool was gorgeous with stunning views and the breakfast was exceptional.

Cons:

Nothing really , it was absolutely perfect except for one very minor thing - our room did smell a little musty, like it needed some fresh air to flush it out and freshen it up. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place.

Außergewöhnliches Ritterhotel direkt an der Stadtmauer
Pros:

Außergewöhnlich schönes Hotel, total im Ritterstil. Überall Rüstungen, Schilder, viele liebevolle Details. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Schöner Pool mit Blick auf die Burg, nur wenige Schritte von der Stadtmauer entfernt, gutes Frühstück - alles super!

Cons:

Leider gibt es nicht viele Steckdosen zum Handy laden, vor allem keine am Bett.
