The staff were friendly and accommodating
It was under renovation, so felt a bit like a building site
Very complete breakfast, with ample choice of hot and cold dishes, as well as pastries. Staff was very polite
The room space was limited and we only had 1 piece of luggage. Too bad no hairdryer was available in room
Pěkná destinace, dobrá cena
Starší vybavení
Staff went above and beyond. I asked them to provide a birthday cake for my girlfriend's birthday, they absolutely did. We then had a meal which was incredible. We gave half the cake to the staff and made sure that the backshift reception lady got some too, she was a star, the other staff were great, friendly people too!
No hot chocolate in the room, but that's first world problems haha.
Great price in a safe location. There was a pub in the building to enjoy a pint and watch the FIFA match before turning in for the night. Full breakfast for an extra fee:
When we first pulled up the outside appeared quite run down. We quickly realized they were renovating the outside. The rooms inside were newly renovated.
Dinner good.
The location of this hotel was great, right next to the monument to King Robert. But the best thing about the hotel was the staff, they were so helpful and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us, especially the chef re gluten free options and particularly the lady who works behind the bar, she was great, don’t know her name but she had shortish hair and glasses. They are a credit to the hotel, I don’t think I’ve ever met such a good level of customer service, brilliant ! The hotel itself is a bit tired but it is clean.
My friend and I took a coach trip to see the Highland Show and the Kelpies and our accommodation was the King Robert. The exterior makes the hotel look a bit like a prison but luckily we found it to be a lovely little place. The room was large, clean and bright. The en suite shower room was immaculate and modern and we even had satellite TV.
But the best part about our visit was the staff! They couldn't do enough for us! The barman was helpful and a dab hand with the cocktails (I recommend the French Martini!) Also, the restaurant staff made sure everyone was looked after and even prepared me an off menu meal, as I am childishly fussy about what I eat. The hotel location was great too, about 15mins from Stirling City centre and right next to the Robert the Bruce monument and the site of the Battle of Bannockburn.
So, definitely a win for us. By the way, if you get chance, go and see the Kelpies..absolutely stunning!
The staff were really nice and helpful. My room was immaculate with a nice comfy bed. The breakfast was the best I have had in any equivalent hotel for a long time. Thank you all
Sleeping when it was too warm was difficult - but that's because I prefer a cold room
The restaurant and staff are amazing
The room we had was very old other than the bathroom and the hall corridor did smell like mold. Pillows very uncomfortable as was the mattress
Staff molto gentile e disponibile, ristorante nella struttura, parcheggio privato.
Pressione dell'acqua eccessivamente bassa
