Pros:

Botanic gardens, extremely low radio frequency, kind staff, amazing breakfast, eggs from real free range chickens on the property. I saw rhem happily walking outside their house/coop. They have free access to the outdoors. Balcony garden, privacy with view. Quiet only, sounds of nature. Our go to when near SJO

Cons:

I would like incandescent lighting. No LED bulbs please. We have Ethernet only in our home so we want the i ternet to be hardwired. Looking for LIFI internet. Communicating with Light not radio. Nature communicates with Light, why not humans?

Pros:

El tour con las catarata, las piscinas con diferentes temperatura de agua, el Jacuzzi
No probamos la cena pero si el desayuno

Cons:

El ruido de los aviones que pasan de vez en cuando
No había climatización (un poco caloroso la habitación)
el precio, siendo Costarricense (los 2) nos hicieron pagar como extranjeros

insgesamt ein absolut empfehlenswerter Ort!
Pros:

die Lage mit Blick über die Stadt ist fantastisch, die gesamte Anlage äußerst großzügig mit großen Zimmern und 3 großen Pools sowie einem wunderbaren Dschungelpfad zu fünf Wasserfällen. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und schmackhaft, das Restaurant abends ebenfalls empfehlenswert, wobei das Personal stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist.

Cons:

uns fehlten einige Haken zum Aufhängen unserer Kleidung und Badetücher im Zimmer, zudem war die Beschriftung der Dschungelpfade ohne Zeit- oder Längenangabe, zum Teil auch generell zu spärlich.

Pros:

Prachtig resort dichtbij de luchthaven, met ruime kamers, heerlijke bedden en een schitterende groene omgeving vol dieren; een fijne plek om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen.

Cons:

helaas hadden we te weinig tijd om optimaal te genieten van de zwembaden en het hele resort met de prachtige natuur en watervallen te verkennen.

Family-Friendly Authentic and Refined Stay
Pros:

My family with kids age 8 and 10 had such an awesome time at this hotel. There are miles of walking trails right on property as well as five waterfalls! In addition there are three pools and two Jacuzzis. Gardens are beautiful - we even say a Capybara - a real treat for my daughter. We had a generous breakfast included in our stay and we chose to eat dinner at the hotel each night as the food was good and reasonably priced. Lots of vegetarian options as well. The staff is so kind. We participated in a night walk with Carlos and a farm tour with Luis and Guillermo. Carla at the front desk was a real joy to deal with. We would come back again to this hotel. It is 15 minutes from the airport with easy parking. A great day to start or end a trip in Costa Rica as you are close to SJO without having to book a commercial hotel. This place is an artist’s delight!

Hidden gem
Pros:

Beautiful hotel and spa a true paradise.
The spa is amazing, breathtaking views and the staff are amazing.
The hotel is set in stunning surroundings and there are lots of things to do, including planting a tree. The staff are wonderful and we have had an amazing stay, we will definitely return.
This is a real gem in Costa Rica.
