Sarovar Portico - A very good chain of hotels.
Pros:

Rooms were spacious. They had a signature decor. There was adequate parking. It was slightly of the highway which made it convenient but not noisy.
The food was quite good. The range of items and service in breakfast was very good.
We had two rooms which were joined from inside.
Overall an very good experience.
I have stayed in Sarovar Portico Amritsar as well. And I will be going to Grand Continental Malleswaram Banglore also. I like the chain

Not good as expected from sarovar group

Location on road towards haridwar

Cons:

Ac was not working
Lots of mosquitos , a lot of noise of the guests in the corridor was making the stay uncomfortable . We had ordered food and they sent wrong food thrice , food was expensive and portion size is very less… food taste was also not good not value for money
