Bed had socks in it. Informed manager who reluctantly believed us. Bed was uncomfortable.

We were from 4 in the morning with the police banging someone’s door in next to our room more tired leaving there
Good location
We stayed in room 118 and couldn’t sleep through out our stay due to loud humming noise. We told the staff but nothing changed. We also email the manager Simon Dodds with out reply. We request a full refund as it ruined our 1 night stay. Will attach video.
This is a great cheap hotel. Very good value with comfortable beds and pillows. The front desk staff are really friendly. This is perfect for a one or two night business stay.
The decoration in the rooms is very ugly and you cannot open the windows. The A/C temperature doesn't go low enough so it can be quite warm in the rooms.
Room was clean but had issues with facilities in the room ie the TV had to call multiple times as they kept giving me the incorrect remote
I was given a room almost at the top of the building and both lifts was out of order so I had to climb 8 flight of stairs to get to my room everytime I went out I spoke to a manager about it and he said he would get me a full refund and send an email over to head office but none of that was done I had to raise the complaint myself they tried to offer me £15 back which was an absolute shocker of a refund I was actually offended that they thought that was sufficient after what I had been through if they told me no lifts where in order I wouldn't have booked but it was late so had no choice in the end they just said sorry can't help you and I haven't heard a word since my advice is to ask them if the lifts are working as I was told it happens very often and you are left with no choice but to climb the stairs
