We stayed at Ohana Phnom Penh Palace Hotel for 3 nights and unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay.
When we checked in, there were two of us and we asked for two room swipe cards, but we were only given one and told they did not have another card available. The shower drain in our room was blocked, so every time we had a shower the bathroom floor flooded. The sink drain was also blocked.
There was construction happening directly in front of the hotel, and it started very early in the morning around 5:15am, which made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was also disappointing. The area felt poorly organised, with limited seating unless you wanted to sit outside in the sun.
The towels provided in the room were old, stiff and frayed around the edges. Overall, we really did not enjoy our stay here. In my opinion, this does not feel like a 4-star hotel as advertised.

The property was beautiful and well maintained, the pool and breakfast area really nice to spend
time in. The direct access to the riverfront was very convenient for restaurants and nightlife.
Of course being just a few blocks from some “seedy” parts of town, there can be some discomfort/security caution feeling walking around especially after dark, and if I had small kids I would have maybe been more bothered. But as an adult who likes cities, this was just part of being in the middle of one.
Location was excellent for Riverside
The receptionist wasn’t welcoming at all, to the point of seeming quite rude.
