Het charmante cachet van het gebouw zowel van binnen als van buiten.
Ontbijt was ook in orde.

In eerste instantie dit geboekt door het charmante cachet van het gebouw.
Helaas… vanbuiten zijn de balkons afgebrokkeld , de verlichting aan het terras hangt los.
Eerste indruk binnen was oké.
Eens in de kamer was het cava tot je eens rondkeek , toen zagen we dat er serieuze scheuren in de muur zaten.
Op het balkon durf je niet te gaan staan uit angst dat dat je niet kan houden.
Eerste nacht was zeker geen goede nacht , elke draai die we maakten werden we wakker van , de poten stonden namelijk los.
Gaan melden en werd gelukkig opgelost.
En dan even over de vriendelijkheid van het personeel , meer bepaald de vrouwelijke manager.
Ze kijkt u buiten wanneer je iets wil zeggen of vraagt.
Ook aan het ontbijt kon er geen vriendelijkheid af.
Zeer teleurstellend.
Voor ons zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
Pak het hotel van binnen en van buiten aan , maak het terug in orde , zet er vriendelijk personeel en het zou veel beter zijn.

Bon hôtel si on accepte d'être patient
Pros:

Hôtel d'époque Art Déco à l'atmosphère surannée plaisante que nous avons appréciée. Grande chambre confortable avec grand lit, 2 lustres et moquette, guéridon et console pour écrire. Très bon petit déjeuner avec un personnel attentif. Chaînes françaises à la télévision.

Cons:

La réceptionniste à l'accueil à 15 heures nous a gentiment guidé jusqu'au parking privé mais nous avons dû revenir à 16 heures pour avoir la chambre (mais c'était prévu ainsi à la réservation). Check out à 10 h 30, c'est un peu tôt...
Descendus à 8 h 20 pour déjeuner, nous sommes revenus à 9 h 10 en raison de l'affluence (il y avait un groupe et donc aucune place disponible).
Le parking est peut-être un peu cher ( comme il fallait libérer le parking pour 11 heures, m'a-t-on répondu à ma demande, et que nous étions arrivés la veille à 15 heures, une place de parking dans la rue aurait coûté la moitié du prix du parking privé de l'hôtel, soit 15 euros au lieu de 30).

The hotel and rooms may look old, but it’s all very clean, and it has the charm of La belle époque

Big beds and super comfortable, the location, the staff at breakfast and the team cleaning the rooms were very helpful, professional and kind. They spoke English quite well, and were prompt at solving issues. For instance, I gave the wrong room number at breakfast and was told my booking didn’t include breakfast so I had to pay. It was not a problem on my side, and the cleaning lady with whom I interacted the previous day and who was helping with breakfast that day asked me which room number I had provided… she was actually checking as she remembered my correct room number. End of story, I gave the wrong room number and everything was sorted out at the end. Thank you lady!

Cons:

The water took so long to warm up in the shower! It’s a pity to waste it in today’s environment issues. Sometimes in the afternoon there was no hot water.
