Staying here in Weesp is a good alternative to Amsterdam center!
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Deluxe Double room was newly renovated and very lighty & pleasant. Beautiful location, good restaurants. 10 minute walk to station with regular trains to Amsterdam. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Arrived 11pm - getting the key from the "dispenser" and finding the room was a challenge. Note - there are some steep stairs to climb with suitcases. In the renovated room - (as usual!) shower door leaked. {Please add silicon seals!}.

Short stay
Pros:

It was possible to check in in late hours. However it didn't work in our case perfectly. Breakfast was very good. It is good localization.

Pros:

Mooi, sfeervol en eigentijds ingericht hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Prachtige kamer. Heerlijk bed. Smakelijk ontbijtbuffet met veel keus. Het hotel ligt in het hart van het historisch centrum van Weesp, aan de gracht.

Prima Hotel, im Dreibettzimmer alles gut und tolles Frühstück, der Preis war super.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war gut und modernisiert, das Bad war modern .
Das Frühstück war sehr gut.
Die Lage des Hotels war gut.

Cons:

Mit Gepäck und Hund in den ersten Stock ist machbar, macht aber wenig Spaß.
