Das Essen war sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmertemperatur war unerträglich die Zirkulation des Warmwasser hat Bad und somit das ganze Zimmer geheizt. Im Sommer eine Zumutung.

Pros:

Hotel Bad Schachen is a beautiful classic hotel to relax and the facilities like the spa and outside pool - plus where it’s situated directly lakeside is perfect. But there were some problems with the service we felt.

Cons:

Prior to our arrival nor at check-in, were we notified of a party organised on our first evening, or the wedding taking place on the next day. The first evening we were told there was only a buffet if we had not book half pension. The wedding event caused a shortage of tables/staff(?) for us to be able to book a table for the second evening. And the fish was luke warm:(. All of this may sound like fussy complaints, but we had very much looked forward to some proper relaxation and better service for the money paid which was over CHF 1000.00 (room with balcony on the first floor for 2 nights/parking/ 1 evening meal (buffet and drinks))

Einzigartige Lage direkt am See, aber nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäss!

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am See und neben einem grossen Park ist wirklich einzigartig! Es war sehr ruhig in meinem Zimmer. Ich habe die Aussicht auf den See und die Berge vom Frühstückssaal sehr genossen!

Cons:

Mein Einzelzimmer zur Nordseite war eher schlicht: klein, enges Bett und Bad, alte Möbel! Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Es wirkt wie ein Zeitsprung in frühere Jahrzehnte! Das Haus ist wohl renovierungsbedürftig.

Superb stay in a beautiful place
Pros:

Beautiful classic hotel at the borders of the lake, stunning views. Pristine, art deco pool . Staff is very attentive and service minded, really friendly. We booked a few more nights!

Anders, wie bislang gewohnt, aber trotzdem schön !
Pros:

Da voll belegtes Haus war das Servicepersonal, bis auf wenige Ausnahmen, gestresst. Die Reinigungsdamen waren (nach Trinkgeldgabe) freundlich und gut.
Die Zimmer sind nicht klimatisiert, es gibt auch keine Ventilatoren, was im heißen Sommer misslich ist. Die Damen am Empfang gingen sehr "ruppig" mit den Gästen um. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und gut, nur der Herr für die Erstellung der Eierspeisen war "überfordert". Eine zweite Person wäre hier von Vorteil gewesen. Das Buffet am "Festspielabend" war dagegen ausgezeichnet. Der Bustransfer zum Schiff klappte problemlos.
Das nahe Strandbad zur Mitbenutzung entschädigt aber für alles: ruhige, saubere Atmosphäre herrschte dort. Fahrradunterbringung war gut. Da das Hotel "unique" ist - vor allem wegen seiner sensationellen Seelage und der schönen Aussenterrasse, kommen wir schon seit über 30 Jahren dorthin und kommen auch wieder :-)

Cons:

Rezeption ! nur eine älterne blonde Dame war sehr serviceorientiert. Alle Wünsche möglich gemacht. Die jüngeren zwei Rezeptionisten waren kein gutrs Aushängeschild für ein Grandhotel! Ankunft ; die Zimmerschlüssel wurden ausgehändigt, es wurde nicht mal kurz informiert wo die Zimmer oder der Fahrstuhl ist. usw. Kein freundliches Lächeln !

Würde kein zweites mal anreisen !!!
Pros:

Frühstück mittelmässig, nicht besonders.
Es ist alte Pracht, aber der Komfort fehlt, den man mittlerweile bezahlt, aber in diesem Hotel nicht vorhanden ist. VÖLLIG ÜBERTEUERT !!!!
