It's obviously undergoing being done up, so some things are getting over looked. The lift was quite grubby no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. But over all it was convenient for the air museum

Hotel did not have a twin room that I'd booked. They had a coach party staying and I suspect prioritized them as we arrived after 10pm.
Not great having to share a double bed with my teenage daughter.

Awful hotel, no aircon, noisy location
Pros:

It was convenient for an event we were attending. Had a restaurant downstairs which we didn’t use.

Cons:

First hottest days of the year. Checked the place has air con. Said it did. Messaged saying please turn it on in room before we get back. In the hallways the air con works. In the rooms it doesn’t. Just blows out hot air! Checked with reception and told it’s only just been turned on in the hotel so it should reach rooms soon. Rubbish! Couldn’t open windows as we’re right next to A road and noisy all night. Awful sleep which is main reason of choosing somewhere. Never stay there again

Ok for a one night stopover
Pros:

Good value compared to other hotels.

Cons:

The staff were slow at checking me in and my room wasn’t ready, despite arriving 2 hours after the check in time. There was also nobody on the desk when I checked out. The room could have been cleaner.

Lovely staff, especially Becky
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Becky who was cooking breakfast Monday morning and was so busy and cooker broke. But was so lovely and professional. Did a great job. We share same name she was great. A credit to the company.

Cons:

Would be nice to know we could have eaten there on the evening. But we weren't told anything about evening meals.

Pleasant. We got used to the sound of the trains during the night. Good air conditioning.
Pros:

Room clean, clean sheets, air conditioning in working order. Lift in working order. Breakfast was good, staff were helpful. The fresh bread and croissants were delicious. Good fried breakfast.

Cons:

The shower tray filled up because the drain was partially blocked. The shower door needed a good spring clean. The freshly prepared fruit salad was absent from the breakfast bar.

Ondanks matig restaurant toch een aanrader
Pros:

Het is een modern ingericht hotel. Het concept van deze keten is dat ze zo groen mogelijk proberen te ondernemen. Je kamer wordt dus standaard niet iedere dag schoongemaakt. Dat kan wel, maar dan moet je het vragen.

De kamers waren ruim genoeg voor 2 volwassenen. De badkamer voldeed (ondanks dat er voegen ontbraken tussen de vloertegels) aan onze verwachting en was erg mooi.

Er was voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor het hotel. Niet van het hotel zelf overigens, dus je moet hie betaald parkeren.
Het hotel ligt direct naast het treinspoor. Je stapt binnen nog geen minuut lopen op de trein richting Londen of Cambridge.

Er zijn ruime in- en uitchecktijden. Tenslotte het personeel. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Eigenlijk waren wij het minst tevreden over het restaurant. Wij hadden (gelukkig) maar 1 x ontbijt geboekt, want het ontbijt was een enorme tegenvaller. Je kon tussen 7:30 en 10:30 ontbijten. Wij gingen om 9:15 ontbijten. Helaas waren geen kleine broodjes en croissant meer, de vleeswaren waren op en de roereieren waren op. Overigens werden eieren wel gemaakt nadat iemand voor ons naar de bali was gelopen. Uiteindelijk duurde het toen nog een ruim kwartier voordat dit aangevuld werd. Omdat wij niet de enige waren die hier op aan het wachten waren, was het zo weer op.

Je kunt hier ook dineren, maar dat hebben wij - gewoonweg vanwege de gerechten op de kaart - niet gedaan. Als je van nacho's en curry-gerechten houdt, zit je hier goed. Deze kaart is echt anders dan we in (vrijwel alle) andere hotels tegen kwamen.

Tenslotte, en wij moeten dat wel melden; Het hotel ligt direct naast het spoor. Wij hadden kamers aan de kant van het treinstation. Tot laat in de avond en vanaf 5 uur 's morgens rijden er regelmatig treinen voorbij. Ook sneltreinen. Als je een lichte slaper bent en niet tegen dit soort geluiden kunt moet je hier wel rekening mee houden.
