Breakfast was a shambles so only had breakfast once.
Lovely breakfast with good choice.
Great location
very friendly/helpful staff.
very comfortable rooms
great food on the menu for evening meal
View from one room looked onto 1st floor tables and chairs of adjoining building, there was a blind in place, just a shame the view was people who could see into the room if the blind was up!
Loud music from adjoining venue until i guess 10:30 or 11pm. Would not hear once window is shut.
Mother had tomato, chickpea and paprika soup one night, it was so spicy it made her lips numb for a while, waitress said this had happened before - so why does it not say it's very hot/spicy on the menu?
Meal service sometimes slow to be seen/served once sat down.
Good central location. Comfortable. Lovely building.
Nothing.
For a three-night stay costing €727 without breakfast, we expected a much higher standard.
Unfortunately, the room was very disappointing. The roller blinds were old and dirty, the bed was clearly worn out with visible damage on the sides, and the bathroom had a strong sewage and urine smell throughout our stay. The bathroom extractor fan was also dirty. The hotel also felt impersonal, and the overall level of cleanliness was below expectations.
These are not major renovations but basic maintenance and housekeeping issues that should be easy to address, especially for a hotel charging premium rates.
The location is excellent, although it can be noisy. However, the condition of the room did not match either the price or the expectations created by the hotel. The rear of the hotel, including the terrace, was also a real disappointment and looked neglected. To make matters worse, the staff were the least friendly we have ever encountered, making us feel far from welcome.
Overall, we were very disappointed and would not consider this hotel good value for money.
Great location with parking, staff were so friendly, breakfast was delicious
Nothing
Location
Untidy exterior at rear
Great staff, position in center of town , car parking, room was refurbished,
Room Price, public areas very tired, restarunt food average,
Furnishings and the overall styling of the hotel. Staff were all polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast.
Unfortunately, on an extremely hot day (and night), there was no temperature control in the room, and - especially as I fronted onto the main road, had to keep the curtains closed, so the room was very hot, even with the fan provided. Consequency, i didn't really sleep at all, but it was an exceptionally hot night.
Great staff, very friendly. Clean throughout . Amazing breakfast
Good food and service in the dining room.
Lacks comfortable seating areas.
